What I expect at least are:

Native 1080p (capable of 4k resolution)

+60fps

7.1 HD Sound

SSD (high speed hard drive)

Wireless connection faster than N

Full 3D capability without sacrifies picture quality.

Quad layer Blu ray 12x current speed.

5 year ahead of current PC features. (not like PS3 that launched a console with an obsolete GPU).

Great game to play.

Well, I think that at the time that xbox 360 and PS3 were launched, they had competitive advantage over regular PCs. Additionally, with consoles you do not have to worry about compatibility and drivers in order to take advantage of all the features of the game. In my case, I never liked to know that I could not get the most of the game because of the PC hardware. For example: I recently bought the ASUS G73 (ATI 5870, 8Gb, etc), and it was frustrating that even with that machine I couldn't run smoothly Metro 2033 and Crysis (however, most game tried run perfectly well at 1920x1080). There is a feeling that games are not well optimized to any computers, so there is a loss of potential by not being specially develop by specific hardware.

There are not much developer willing to invest time and money to develop AAA games to take near 100% advantage of todays PC hardware. For many reasons, the most important to me is: how many people do you thing have an i7-870 CPU with Geforce 480 at home?

In my opinion, most developer develop games based on taking advantage of current gaming console (xbox 360 and PS3) and add some features when port to PC.

Even though, I feel todays game looks better on PC due to Dx11 features, I still like most to play in console due to the whole experience given by connect the console to an 46" HDTV and a 7.1 receiver seated on a good sofa. Additionally, you do not have drivers or compatibility problem, freezing problem, etc... You just insert the game in your xbox 360 or PS3 and ready to play. You do not need to test the game before playing by selecting Quality of shadows, resolution, AA 2x 4x 6x 8x 16x, and all the setting you can select.

I wish to know if there still potential not achieve in the PS3, I am still waiting for a game that I could say "wow, incredible, I can't believe what I am seeing"....

I bought this game a few months ago... I played it to test it and my first impression about the game is "normal"... I haven't played it because there had a lot of games out I was interested to finished, like: gears of war 2, call of duty: world at war, dead space, mgs4, etc. Now, I have in the list the following games I bought but I havent finished yet: Star wars TFU, Resistance 2, Hell's Highway, SOCOM, Devil May Cry 4, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Ninja Gaiden 2, Farcry 2, Condemned II and Haze.... To be honest, one of the game I did not play was Haze, but after reading this topic I got interesting on playing this game.

But soon will be released Killzone 2, Resident evil 5 and Halo Wars.... make playing Haze difficult to me.... but, I promise you, I will give my best to try it. Thanks

Yes, I have to uncheck 720p and 1080i in order to play it at 1080p.... If I left it at just 1080p, there are some games that not support 1080p what goes directly to 480p so when I played those games I have to check 720p and then uncheck it if I want to play COD4 again. It is a frustrating issue....

COD4 seems to look a bit better at 1080p. But minor difference.
