Mass Effect 2 is one of the most overrated games I've ever played in my life. It's not worse than RDR. It just isn't. I know ME2 is flawed, but for every flaw ME2 had RDR has and worse.

People treat the story like it's some godly western, but in reality it's about a rape-enabling, mass murderering, despicable POS. Also the first four hours is herding cows and doing chores.

Garbage overtime, I suppose. Compared to its contemporaries like Half-Life I don't think it was particularly well-designed for 1998, either, but since there was very little to compare it to on consoles it became revolutionary.
Goldeneye is f*cking garbage and you can cry about it all you want, it won't change anything. Shouldn't be on the list. (Nightfire is amazing, though) Also Halo 3 is worse than Halo: CE and much less important, CE should replace it.
