Downloaded the special edition today while it is on the list for January sales. However, every time I try to open it, it loads for about 5 seconds and then quits to the dash and saying an error has occurred (CE-34878-0).

I have googled it, and from what I can tell the game is just broken, but then why would it be sold like this? I have tried calling Playstation support but they are closed because it's Christmas. Any fix for this? Is it even possible to get a refund, or have I just thrown away £45?

My dad bought me a 120gb drive for christmas but it didn't come with the transfer kit. Since then, I have tried to buy one three times, since i read that Microsoft don't have any at the moment and the waiting list is months long.

We thought we finally found one an it arrived today, but the CD is Xport and I keep reading that it's quite dodgy using that and it might corrupt the new drive, so if anyone could send me a CD that they won't need to use anymore, I will be EXTREMELY greatful.

My dad got it from Play.com and realised one was cheaper than the others and didn't know about the cable (that was why it was cheaper).

Ah well, I'll see if Game or CEX has the transfer cables tomorrow. If not, I'll probably get a memory card.

To transfer my saves, do I need some sort of official Microsoft memory card?

I ask because I have an external 500gb hard drive which i was planning to move them to, and then from that onto the new hard drive but the only storage device it is showing is the hard drive already in.

It recognises that it is there because I can play music off it, but can't store anything on it.

I have tried with an SD card aswell but it doesn't seem to find that either.

I just don't want to wait until the shops open tomorrow to buy a memory card if I don't need one =P
