Except for those unlucky enough to have had their credit card data solen (and hopefully it wasn't) there wasn't anything taken that ordinary telemarketing and junk mail companies haven't been getting their hands on for years. How else do you think that kiosk at the mall can give away a free car in a raffle? Because you had to put your name, birthday, address and phone number on a piece of paper for said raffle, which is then sold to a marketing company to pay for the prize.
