Not sure, but probably Reign Over Me (because I always had a thing for heart broken men), Scarecrow (an Al Pacino classic, also the story of a sailor who will eventually have his heart broken) and Mean Streets (I watched it so frequently that over a certain period, I spoke pretty much the same way as Robert De Niro did in this movie, his accent, idioms, everything).

Well I for one blame the parents. And hippies!

In all seriousness, what a load of nonsense. But who knows? Jack Thompson was disbarred, maybe this guy will get thrown out of office.

I believe what we see in post-apocalyptic stories like The Last of Us or Metro are indeed true. Not the fictional part about zombies or nuclear radiations but the nature of humanity. Humans are capable of dipping that low any day of the week.

I truly don't know. Maybe become a bio-engineer? Or buy a country house? Or learn Russian and Spanish?

@Serraph105: I just watched it on YouTube. It was heartbreaking. The line that blew me apart was "If I just let go, I'd be set free". It made me extremely sad. I feel a bit guilty too; for finding it out only now; I know I could've helped him, if only I was close to him. Man, the bit where he fights himself in the restroom... Jesus. It's was too real. It's pretty much what he had had in his head. I've had my fair share of depression in the past, and in those dark days, in my mind I would always visualize a twin, a doppelganger, who had come to finish me off.

Also on my way to this music video, I stumbled upon Chester's final performance only a handful of days before his passing. It was a concert in Birmingham. Just made my stomach turn. Brought tears to my eyes, and I hardly ever cry.

Currently I'm a Master student of applied mathematics and when I finish college (next year probably), I'm planning on a PhD in biomedical engineering. Where I live, there is almost no precedence of a math student switching over to biomedical engineering for PhD, partly because of the entrance exam, and partly because of the simple fact that engineering departments in general look over at science departments with disdain. So my chances are pretty slim, but I'll take them.

Therefore the first order of bushiness is to finish Master's, then an attempt to infiltrate biomedical engineering department is planned. If the attempt is a success, then I'll spent the next four years in BME school and maybe make myself useful for mankind :)

If the attempt is a failure, then I'll have to deal with mandatory military service. By the time the service is over, I'll be around 27-28. (I'm 23 bordering 24 at the moment.) Then...I don't know. This is about as far ahead as I can foresee :)

Two weeks passed and I still haven't recovered from the shockwave. Like many other OT users, I grew up listening to their songs and watching their live performances, so it was sad news, real sad, the bad kind of sad. When my brother announced the news to me, I froze. It was a hard blow. He never struck me as a troubled person. His sad tale is a shining example of the fact that money or fame or popularity don't guarantee a semblance of happiness.

In retrospective, I now grasp (to some degree, at least) the meaning of many of their songs. Easier to Run, Crawling, Numb, Iridescent, they all make a lot of sense now. They all delivered a theme of sadness, but really didn't sink in until now. I see now that they were the product of a real pain inside.

I implore every one here to go all the way back to Meteora and once again listen to Easier to Run. And read the lyrics if you need.

Do you feel it too?
