Why is GameSpot snubbing Guild Wars 2? It isn't even on the top 10 coming soon in PC even though it is releasing in a little under 2 months. It WILL be the Game of the Year and Gamespot is completely ignoring it.

During this whole drama and paranoia (you are paranoid, don't be mistaken) period of yours you could've enjoyed articles, gameplay videos, etc on other websites that care about "just another game".

I have been enjoying coverage on other sites.

Maybe I am wrong about gamespot having a bias. It probably is based on the viewers desires. It is apparent that Gamespot is full of Blizzard fanboys and Diablo lovers. I couldn't expect to get a decent gaming argument out of people who enjoy such terrible games. Farewell Pandas!

GW2 dosen't even have a release date yet, D3 was launched last month and has been anticipated for 10 years. You expected something else?

First Point: Guild Wars has a release date of "Sometime before the end of 2012" which isn't a specific date but it is still less than six months from now.

Second Point: Diablo 3 is garbage. It launched without half the advertised features and half the features it did launch with broke within an hour. Blizzard was putting there time into making Kung Fu Panda WoW because that's where the cash comes from. I understand Diablo fanboys have a soft spot in their heart for the franchise, but for today's standards Diablo 3 is terrible.

I never played Guild Wars 1, so I don't have a previous bias for the franchise or arenaNet. I played every beta for prepurchasers of Guild Wars 2 after watching some press beta coverage, and it is the most fun I have had with a game, probably ever.

It will be the Game of the Year but Gamespot won't post anything about it until Blizzard farts them out.

By the way, Gamespot wasn't in the press beta, are they bitter, maybe?

Uh that the new releases list you're looking at lol, so yeah of course Guild Wars 2 won't be on there until it releases.

Edit: You were right about the new release list, I was used to the old format before the site redesign, but even in overall it is Halo 4.

Halo 4 is coming out in the middle of November, Guild Wars 2 has stated "Before the end of 2012" and it is still not even on that list. Something is wrong there.
