@Bumblebee1138: Yup, Spider-Man 2 and Batman '89 are nostalgic for me too. And they are still among the best comic book movies ever made even after so many have hit theaters since.

Yeah, there aren't many of us left :( And I'll finally be joining them soon :P I flirted around with different sites for blogging over the last couple of years, but it's just old Gamespot for now. This last blog series of mine here is more or less a passion project I wanted to share. It's something I've always wanted to do. It seems like the perfect way to say goodbye to this old blog of mine. I'm not sure if I'll continue blogging elsewhere. I enjoy writing but my free time has been drying up these past few years. And much of that free time goes to playing games and watching movies rather than writing about them.

I would love to see Ubisoft announce an Assassin's Creed: Ezio Trilogy for the PS4 and Xbox One. With no new AC this year, it would be the perfect chance.

It'll be interesting to see what Sony does. I'm looking forward to seeing more on Horizon, Detroit, Ni no Kuni 2, and even though it's not an exclusive, Kingdom Hearts III.

An Elder Scrolls VI announcement would be mind-blowing. But with Fallout 4 only releasing this year, I'm not getting my hopes up yet. But maybe, just maybe they will just show a quick teaser image like they did with Skyrim and aim for a release late 2017. I bet that the game is very quite far into development. Fallout 4 is big, but I refuse to believe that Bethesda pooled all (or even a large majority) of their resources solely for FO4 for four years plus.

I'm excited to see some Dishonored 2 gameplay at Bethesda's event either way though. Absolutely loved the first one.

@SloganYams:

That's what I mostly meant. I could write an entire blog post about the NX, but to keep it short, Nintendo's sales are going to be dry until March 2017. I understand trying to control the message and fighting off leaked information, but I think they announced its launch month way too soon. It basically freezes their hardware sales for an entire year. They also now have to make sure they hit that March 2017 date which to me, means one of two things: They were aiming for Fall 2016 and realized they were behind schedule or they were confident that it would be ready this Fall and didn't want to go up against either VR, the whole PS4.5/X1.5 thing, or Sony and Microsoft's holiday push.

Personally, I'm excited for the NX and I'm really pulling for Nintendo to make it successful. I just would have loved to see Nintendo coming out at E3 this year ready to throw down :P Announcing the release month for later this year and showing off some footage for their upcoming games... It looks like that will have to wait until they do their own thing probably this Fall.

From the US, I luckily don't have to worry about that. But I do worry when the game will come stateside. It would be a dream if Persona 5 releases worldwide later this year. Perhaps that's why it was delayed, to localize it?

@SloganYams: OK, I see your point. Buzz certainly does have a better role in 2 than 3. It'll be interesting to see how he's used in Toy Story 4 given the heavy rumor that it's about Woody finding Bo Peep, which sounds like a great idea.

@SloganYams: Yeah, I can see your points about the two Toy Story sequels. I don't know, from what I remember about TS2 though, the whole plot revolved around Woody being stolen, Woody being conflicted with who he is, and Woody being rescued. Buzz led the other toys to rescue him, but I can't recall much else about his character. I really do need to watch it again, it's been a while. I only have the VHS for it (and no working VCR), believe it or not. I need to finally pony up and pay the big bucks for a Disney/Pixar blu-ray :P

Edit: Oh, and I read your piece about "The Five Things You'd Like to See in Zelda Wii U" on your site. Really enjoyed reading it and left a comment.

@SoNin360: I do remember your comment and it actually influenced me to pick up Mad Max on PS4 the other day. I had a deal through Gamestop Power-up Rewards to grab a new copy at $20, so I couldn't pass it up. I've only played a couple hours so far, but I'm really digging it. The car combat is just awesome.

I loved this game and have the fondest memories of it. It may be my favorite game on the PSP. As a huge Jak fan, I'd love to see both Daxter and Jak X: Combat Racing show up on the PS4 as either classics or remastered. Because they are outside the core trilogy and have different gameplay and premises, those two games are often forgotten. I'd even love for the Jak & Daxter HD collection from the PS3 to be ported over to the PS4 at some point. They are my all-time favorite.

Or... maybe the Ratchet & Clank movie and game remake do really well and Sony finally brings back Jak in a similar way. That'd be a dream.
