@neatfeatguy:

If you're picking a favorite series you don't necessarily have to count the most recent of the series. I picked Mortal Kombat, but I don't think i've played an MK game since 4

@Jaysonguy:

and the xbox1 didn't come with any form of a rechargeable battery, way to make my point for me.

Only thing in my house that I can find that still uses AA batteries are my tv remote, which gets changed every couple of years, and my xbox1 remote. That's it, everything else has and came with a rechargeable source, not a pamphlet saying "hey, go buy this, it'll bring our inferior product up to date."

As far as the rechargeable batteries you bought lasting longer than a built in, that really shouldn't be an issue. Most people are fairly busy and aren't going to be sitting in front of their tv's for 5+ hours nonstop, so they have time to charge their controllers.

@Jaysonguy: Inferior? Clearly AA's are past tech and are being phased out for a superior rechargeable system that virtually every other device and console uses. Nintendo, Sony, smartphones, tablets, even my headset uses a rechargeable battery source. Your solution to my complaint is that I should go spend more money because they gave me a piece of obsolete hardware.

I dunno, probably shouldn't irritate me as much as it does, but I'm considering returning my xbox1 on principle. Especially considering the first thing I pull out of the box is a little pamphlet saying "Hey, go buy a play and charge kit now." Why is it that Sony can package their console with rechargeable controllers from day 1 of the ps3, and MS still packages their console with AA's?

Did this irritate anybody else, or is it just me?

Im sure this will be another halo game but it will happen before halo 1.Roxas12934

Unlikely, the books pretty much fill in all the gaps before halo 1, and in halo 3 there's a lot of little easter eggs pertaining to marathon, which takes place many years after halo 3

Vader. And reading the books that he's in just makes him more badass.

Not really surprising. Bungie actually has a fairly long history in the game industry, and has been around since long before halo. People act like that's the only game they've made and if they try anything else it's going to suck. Quite honestly i wouldn't blame them if they were tired of making halo games and wanted to work on something not even FPS related. I would be excited for marathon, but lets face it, halo was marathon in a slightly prettier skin. Instead I'm hoping they go for a new genre of games all together. I think it would be interested to see them try their hands at an action game, or RTS. Noteably they have experience in both these genres, but it's been quite a while since they've been able to work within them.

I would say Beatrix as well, but that was before I saw advent children. After watching that I can say Tifa most definately kicks the most ass. So much good fighting...
