@falkyn: Nintendo said they wanted the Switch to have a longer life cycle than their previous consoles so they are probably thinking about keeping new games comming for 6 -8 years. I don't know if they have multiple metroid projects on the go but I definitly hope they do, another old school 2d metroid game would be cool. Metroid prime though shouldn't be at the end of the Switches life.
@falkyn: Way too early. Metroid Prime 3 completly restarted devolpment from scratch earlier this year so it will be another 1 to 3 years before it comes out probably. Next year we should at least get some kind of news about it though, maybe some screenshots.
I love horror games and i'm definitly interested in this one, but horror games usually have a niche audience and don't sell as well as other games. It seems strange then that 2 horror games are releasing on the same day, (this and Man of medan) since more than likely horror fans will buy one or the other which could be very bad news for one of these games.
@lorddaggeroff: I don't think it's releasing on xbox, just PC and PS4. Maybe it will later when it releases on steam but japanese games don't usually sell well on xbox and aren't usually released on that console.
@Jendeh: Don't worry so much about review scores, what matters is that you like the game. Reviews are great for deciding if you will like the game or not but if a reviewer is saying they don't like something in the game doesn't mean everyone doesn't like that, it could be something you enjoy. Don't trust review scores, read them and formulate your own ideas.
@bdrtfm: Mature games could still be considered aimed at children because they are rated for 17+ and obviously 17 is under 18. There are no games (that I know of) that have gotten the 18+ adults only rating because most developers will cut or change content if they are about to get that rating and make it a mature game so that the game will hopefully sell more copies.
