Well at least we know it's not cancelled. I'm just happy for that. But a "spiritual successor to System Shock 2" just sounds kinda odd in the context of Prey...
The first game was awesome. And though it was pretty different, the second game sounded cool too. So I'm a little bummed whatever progress got scrapped again. Here's hoping third time's the charm! :)
@Earl-of-Death @lindallison It didn't have a "portal gun", but it did have portal's that functioned the same way portals did in Portal. Portal was unique though because of the way it used those portals as a game mechanic and to solve puzzles. Prey focused more on the "walking on wall/ceiling" gravity thing, and the "spirit walking" thing, which were both pretty cool I thought.
But yeah, basically Prey did have the portals before Portal did, but they were super under-utilized
The first one on dreamcast was awesome! Didn't know we were getting a second PSO!!
No nintendo release though? Aw man, I hope this isn't punishment because I still haven't gotten around to buying the Phantasy Star Zero game on DS... lol Guess I'll have to settle with the PC version
