Basically only the top 9 or 10 I'd consider very good. The rest vary from decent to bad.

  1. Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (classic)
  2. Sonic the Hedgehog
  3. Sonic Adventure
  4. Sonic Adventure 2 + Battle
  5. Sonic the Hedgehog 3
  6. Sonic and Knuckles (dlc in the old days)
  7. Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1
  8. Sonic Generations (on the right track, sort of)
  9. Sonic Colors
  10. Sonic Heroes (i thought it was cool)
  11. Sonic Unleashed
  12. Sonic Rivals
  13. Shadow the Hedgehog (kinda underrated, good bargain bin)
  14. Sonic Lost World (weak galaxy clone)
  15. Sonic and the Secret Rings (would be good if controls responded)
  16. Sonic Rush (it got good reviews, but it bored me so much)
  17. Sonic 3D Blast
  18. Sonic Shuffle
  19. Sonic and the Black Knight (wii shovelware)
  20. Sonic Boom (embarassment)
  21. Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) (dear lord)
  22. Sonic R (may be the worst racing game ive ever played in my life. big rigs had better controls)

All life matters, that should be their slogan. Isn't it pretty logical that more black people are going to get shot when they commit a lot more crime than other groups? But I digress, more white people are still being killed by the cops each year.

Their slogan should have been "Black lives matter too". That way they're wouldn't have been any dispute at all.

But, aside from graphical effects, did Halo 4 push the series into a new direction or add anything highly original to it?

No. But for myself......i don't always put all my emphasis on a story line....dont get me wrong......a story line is very important to a game. BUT the gaming part of Halo 4 was enough for me. IMO!! LOL.

The storyline is only one facet of it. The gameplay itself is mostly the same. It's just about shooting enemies, walking to point A, using an elevator, shooting enemies and walking to point B.

I just don't think IP's should be cheapened.

Star Wars shouldn't have made the prequel trilogy, Terminator should have stopped after 2, Indiana Jones should have stopped after 3.

Don't let my avatar and sig fool you. I'm every bit as upset with the way Uncharted has been going.

Been a Halo fan since the original Xbox. First 3 Halo games were innovated and added lots of great content. After that, MS cheapened the brand with numerous spinoffs. Reach moved the series into iron-sights Call of Duty territory. Halo 4 was a linear Doom-3 corridor shooter with a weak story and no real advancements in online multiplayer. Halo 5 is more of the same.

After Halo 3, has the Halo series evolved one bit (aside from having better graphics)?

When there was a drought in the Gamecube era, I thought there would be a bunch of Wii launch titles.

When there was a drought in the Wii era, I thought there would be be a bunch of Wii U launch titles.

I'm not getting fooled again.

Uncharted 4 looks good, but it wasn't nearly as jaw-dropping as the Uncharted 1 and 2 were during their respective time.

Dark Souls would be a good game to review. The issue with that game is that most of the glowing reviews from hardcore RPG fans, and it doesn't really relate to the average consumer.

A DEHH review style would be great for a game like this because the consumer would get both sides. You'd have one reviewer raving about how the game enveloped them and they couldn't stop playing you. You'd have another saying it's a solid RPG. And you'd have the 3rd reviewer saying the difficulty was just too much for them and they couldn't finish it.
