I would be one of those you refer to as having failed one time, and although i only made it to the final screen once, it was after months of playing, practicing, and failure. I got one lucky break, made the right turn, and found the ending, only to have it stripped from me in an agonizing 5 minute escape failure... who tries something once, fails, and then chucks their controller? a 5 year old. lets hope there's more sense here than that... i was 8 or so when that happened i guess... but my point still stands.

first time: Zillion (sega master system, 1989), i was at the last screen, saved my friends, inputted the self destruct into the giant computer, and all of the computers for warping outside disabled, and it gave me 5 minutes to get back out of that effing maze, and i forgot which route i needed to take to get out. last time i ever played it.

Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection.

A bunch of the trophies in this game require you to beat the first level (or accomplish something you would have anyways) in some old school classics that many of us have played tons in our youth. Or better yet, look at the artwork, play every arcade game (enter the game, then exit it immediatly), play every genesis game (enter-exit)... bla bla bla. i play this game with my 3 year old, and SHE can unlock a bunch of these...

my initial download when i got my ps3 in february was about 20-30 mins. Game updates are usually quite quick, except for Socom: Confrontation... that effin thing was over 500mb's! i just set it to download, and went do bed... shut it off in the morning.

i wouldn't be surprised if gta4 isn't just more demanding on your system than your other games, causing it's processors to work harder, thus creating more heat. that, coupled with the small cubby space, would cause it to heat up on you like that. despite the fan in your unit, it still requires a certain amount of convection to allow it to breathe properly.

my ps3 has only done this to me a couple times, and that's when my daughter bumps the ps button on the controller when the cabinet is shut, and i'm at work. when i get home, it's starting to get warm inside the cabinet, and the ps3 fan is going nuts. no problems if the door is open for me though.

being stuck up has nothing to do with it. if i want to hear people argue about which console is best, i will go to SYSTEM WARS. i don't need to hear about it in the ps3 forums. it's a simple matter of having this conversation in the APPROPRIATE forum. otherwise, it can be considered trolling... i don't go into the xbox forums and express what's wrong with them... have some courtesy...

ps: NOT a fanboy for any system... they all have their place, and everyone is WELL AWARE of each system's strengths and weaknesses by now. thanks.

Wow, this is a top shelf game for the Master System. I remember playing it in the arcades too. There was always a crowd that was waiting and others that just liked to see the people play. Unlike the Hang On bike that just fell side to side the Enduro Racer bike was like a real dirt bike that you could pull back and do the wheelie which was crucial to complete the game.

I agree, obscure. Why would we want to waste our time researching the Sega Master System? I could care less about top shelf games for it, I've never played one before in my life. It's not a system I grew up with so it has no special meaning for me and probly a lot of other people on these forums. Fact is it's not worth researching because the system is garbage and so are the games. They could have at least released an NES game for 500 points, at least then it might have been worthwhile. Oh well, once again maybe next week will be better.

whoa whoa WHOA there!!! did you just say "i've never played one before in my life" and "the system is garbage" in the same post? Perhaps you SHOULD research the master system! you'd quickly learn that it was actually FAR superior to the NES by having more graphic power (more sprites on a screen at a time, and more colors), as well as better sound capabilities! It was simply marketed poorly. SEGA was the Beta of the 8-bit war. the loser, but not because it was inferior.

unfortunately, i will not be purchasing enduro racer on my wii... because my Master System is HOOKED UP in my basement! i'll just pop it in and play the original! I'm sorry, but those who disagree with me about the Master System being superior, are just wrong, and should accept it.

Are you kidding??? how could you not like (insert generally popular title here)? that game was awesome! your collection must be pretty good if THAT was your worst game!

all kidding aside, my worst games were ones purchased for me by people who have no clue about games. and i live over 200km from the nearest gamestop (that's why they sit in my collection): Ninjabread man, and Kawasaki Jet Ski. worst game my wife and I bought? Mario Party 8. Played it twice.
