Was COD 3 released for the PC? I must admit I stopped playing it after MW and then only played that a bit much Preferred the team work e.t.c of BF2 in multi player. I found it to be shootfest. When MW2 was released with no Mod support and dedicated servers it became a true console port.

Do you need a super computer to run this game?..My PC is about 10 years old with no upgrade's.

-Hoax-

Er No But if you are ever planning on upgrading get it now.It will probably be never this cheap again.

I played it first on an AMD64 3000 with a 6800gt graphics card and had no issues then.

It's got to be 1 of my top 5 FPS's I have played. I cannot recommend enough.

Those specs are not for a gaming machine but rather a business workstation. Avoid buying this machine. Go for a more balanced cheaper one. Also check out your screen resolution that you can use on your monitor. It;s not worth buying a machine with a kick a$$ graphics card is you will don't intend to use a large flashy screen.

Ethically or Whether they will work ok? If you don't mind not giving the game developers any money then most of the time you should be OK. Sometimes however certain DRM restrictions limit the amount of times a game can be freshly installed (e.g. Mass Effect). Online play may also restricted to new copies of the game. So checkout the Games DRM before purchasing. If you have access to Internet your best bet is to go for the Sales on Steam e.t.c or GOG for older DRM free games. There's less reason then ever to go for the 2nd hand market unless you like a physical box.

Get a XBOX 360 controller. It may not the most ergonomic controller but has the best game support. Lazy Developers :)

... I'd avoid the Green series drives, and get one of the Black ones. They are much faster.Roggirek
or better still if your budget can stretch a bit consider buying a small solid state hard drive for your system files. There getting more reasonable now and you certainly see the difference (quieter, quicker and less power required)

I was in the same boat but I have just checked it out and I have now got an activation key (7 Days). I guess they were not prepared for the high demand. Still it's not give me much faith in there service.

Good old Microsoft shooting themselves in the foot again.
