The Final Fantasy XIV Devs Gave Their All For Shadowbringers
The Legend Of Zelda: Link’s Awakening Switch Review - Living The Dream
@Pac1Man: You mean like that Tomb Raider exclusive?
Let's not pretend this is new.
@niv0070: Rounding up from 2.1 or something? Seems generous.
@rezagtx2017: I can't tell if you stopped at first credits, or at the title screen.
This is a great game. Excellent combat, very interesting story, amazing music, and the game runs at a pretty decent framerate (60 ish).
@jenilya: I grew up in the 80's, so I assure you we've had similar experiences.
Still, when I see one toy go out of style and another replace it, I don't care if it lights up, makes noises, or simply has wheels and a wooden body. It's still a toy and it's still a proper distraction from life and society in general. Toys have simply become more complex, more engrossing, and more expensive.
I don't mind if one giant is replaced by another. It has always happened ever since giants existed. They come and go and they always will. I hate that people lose jobs, but new industries always seem to replace them.
@jenilya: Why is it sad? It's one piece of plastic or another. I don't see the difference.
I think you're just dangling from nostalgia.
@kryten212: Exactly this. If you play nothing but AAA games, you're basically playing the same 5 or 6 games over, and over, and over. But now, with lootboxes!
None of that repetition or cash leaching happens with indies.
The games have to rely on unique ideas, characters and stories, instead of popular IPs and fancy graphics.
Hmm. That doesn't make sense to me. I mean, he was called "venom" because he was Spider-man's poison wasn't he? Or because of his venomous hatred towards him. Without Spider-man, and Brocks hatred towards him, the name no longer has any meaning at all.
So, why didn't they call Spider-man Venom while he was wearing the black suit?
I've never heard the symbiote called Venom anywhere until it bonded with Brock and took on some of his personality.
I get what you mean as various characters have taken on the symbiote and taken on the name "venom" but this was all after Eddie Brock had his influence on it.
According to Marvel, the human becomes "venom" after bonding with the suit.
But, that's only one reference.
Venom isn't the symbiote. Venom is the combined minds of Eddie and the symbiote.
The symbiote is just the simbiote, at least according to the story lines I've followed.
They changed Ralf and Donnies weapons? This I'm not O.K. with.
I'm sure the kiddos will like the style (it's goofy and kind of fun), but honestly, they're pretty horrific looking.
