@nazart81: I liked force awakens as well. I think it was done better than The Last Jedi, but that may just be a preference in directors. I’ve never been a huge fan of Rian Johnson, but in saying that I still liked the movie

I honestly didn’t mind this decision. I thought that it was fine and it didn’t make this a good or bad movie. My problems with this movie stem more from some of the dialogue and the Leia reincarnate scene. However in saying that, I think things are getting out of hand with saying this movie is terrible because it isn’t. It’s stil a 7 out of 10 movie that, I must admit, have been hard on. In saying that, I am very critical of the things I love and Star Wars is in that box.

I think what Rian Johnson did with the film is interesting. Luke’s story is very cool and watching him struggle with what happened is incredible. The more I think about it, the more I want to watch him in the role again and again.

I am curious to as if anyone’s opinions have changed, good or bad, after another viewing? I was a little warmer to the film the second time around and I am going for a third time tomorrow after listening to hours of Star Wars podcasts and reviews.

@USDevilDog: I also didn't mind Rose's character. I have heard and read people didn't like her, but that definitely wasn't why I didn't care for this movie as much.

@dhracox: If that is true, I would be totally stoked.

Now that I have had a couple days to think on The Last Jedi, there are a couple things that have stood out to me. Firstly, this is probably the first movie I have really sought out outside information on and have also been listening to all the spoiler talks from everywhere I can. It seems to be really divisive and it has been interesting to hear what everyone has had to say.

The other thing that I feel pretty strongly on are two scenes in the movie that have just really soured me and they are the Leia force pull from outer space and Luke's brushing off the shoulders. Those two things bother me so much that I can't stand it. Does that sound crazy? Perhaps, but I can overlook some of the other just average writing in the movie, but not these two scenes. Anyone else feel the same way or am I alone on this?

@RedSox793: It is sad to me because we lost Serkis from this. He is so good at what he does.

@Greyfox-101: Exactly. There were a few jokes I genuinely laughed at, but others I was just like, man that was bad.

@Berserk8989: I would say that is a fair score for The Last Jedi

@Calikidd86: I actually find it more interesting to read reviews after I have watched a film
