Great movies for kids anyway. I really don't see what adults can possibly see in it though.

I'll be waiting until they release an OLED version anyway. LCD screens are horrible with useless black levels.

Even the steam deck is an OLED screen now so if it really is LCD it is a step too far backwards for Switch 2.

With the issue being take away the $3000 plus PC hardware you are reviewing on and put it on an average rig or Series X/S r PS5 . In Other words actual reality for most people where it is a less than Stellar experience of flickering objects, poor shadow rendering , terrible ssr mirror reflections and low quality SSR water reflections and a fairly low overall resolution even in quality mode.

It is also not even a locked 30 or 60 on PS5.

Please do seperate accurate reviews on console and cease with these ridiculous PC reviews that only 1 percent or less of the population will ever experience in the same fashion.

The reflections are a blurry mess lacking detail on Series X unfortunately with this ray tracing patch. It appears to only use PC medium setting where PS5 clearly uses the high setting. I asked the developer nicely if this will be fixed but was ignored lol

The only saving grace is the 60 fps mode is the only one you should bother with anyway due to the amazing response time for combat lol

@richardwakeling: Thanks for the review. Depending on the PC it can run in excess of 200 fps with DLS 3.0 on 4090 . That is amazing to think we are at a consumer level for this technical prowess to run like that. Within 2-3 years that will be more the performance level of mid tier PC's too. I am pretty happy with how it looks and runs on Series X all the same. the 40 fps VRR mode on 120 hz screen is a plus. Up close combat has never been a strength of this game series. I was hoping for drastic changes here.

@rising333: You can play at 40 fps VRR at 120 HZ with a compatible screen on series X. It is pretty smooth that way. I haven't noticed any dips on my C1 OLED. Sure it's not as fast and smooth as the first game but it's better than 30 lol. The HDR lighting on the other hand is often incredible. I was blown away at how the sun is depicted in this game. Especially across water surfaces. It looks even better on PC with ray traced reflections. Consoles have high quality SSR but it's not all that accurate in places. It looks good if you just run by and don't spend time analysing it lol

The fire effects and rats are now awesome. The Dev said they might try for 1 million Rats in number 3 instead of just the measly 300,000 plus here lol

So why are they allowed to do this so easily when Microsoft has to keep answering on Activision purchase? . Double standards.

@santinegrete: Golden Eye looked awful though lol. Primitive 3D was an eyesore.
