@BloodMist CoD is hugely popular for the exact same reason as WoW is. They are both put together with great care and attention with the end result being something special. Since WoW came out it has lost its shine over the years. No one can deny that. Whereas CoD has been reinvented a few times where wow has simply raised the lvl cap and added a race, class or area to the game.. but the game is still the same. It still looks the same as it did when it first came out and it plays the same. It hasn't evolved at all but instead milked a massive fan base in clever ways. The latest clever thing is the update to the environment, which is basically not creating anything new but instead editing what they already have on their hard drives. This is a money making scheme they can use to great effectiveness. And yes, as someone stated above, you ARE paying Blizzard for all this each and every month as well as expansion packs, as well as perhaps a fancy mount, a pet, a character name change or transfer. (Can you see where im going with this?) A map pack (although I dont agree with charging for them) is the same price as one months fee for WoW without all the extra costs. Again making maps in this way gets them more money, which is ultimately the same as what Blizzard do with WoW only on a minor scale in comparison. Add to this the sometimes abysmal server performance and downtime and it really paints a bleak picture.

I played the beta of this and its just the same old thing over again. I thought this expansion would have been much better. So I have decided not to reactivate my account. I will miss all the good people on Bloodhoof eu but I wont miss the game any more. Kinda the end of an era for me :( Good luck to those who will keep playing :)
