Garritios realized he was free. He realized his core was what they were after. He decides he likes the core where it is, so he utilizes the same trick he did to get here to get away from here. Now that the path ahead was clear, he could railgun his way to somewhere not so crowded with people that want to use him and his body parts for their own gains.
Garritios growls in pain, unsure of what was just taking out of him and unsure if and how much that thing was needed. All he knew was that he would have prefer to be put under before being operated on again.
Garritios laughs hysterically. Between the pain catching up to him, the numbness of the ice, the boredom with the fight, the surge of power, the previous mental instability, and the unbelievableness of the entire situation he can't help but laugh. He thinks to himself just how easily he could have killed them, if he had been in the murderous mindset instead of the reserved one that wasn't looking for a fight.
Garritios decided that he wouldn't bother trying to react unless he was sure of a strike incoming. He knew his enemies were up to something while he was trying to converse, but he wasn't concerned. "It wouldn't be the first, nor likely the last time I was a test subject. My whole life has been spent being either predator or a pawn. Perhaps that is why I am jaded. Maybe if I had a better life, I would be less inclined to destroy this world. Maybe if I hadn't been betrayed by everyone."
Garritios laughs a bit. "I never asked to be the lab rat. Greed is a powerful force. The only thing that can stop the greedy is a hunter. Instead of nuking the next batch, the greedy will be hunted. The evil will be purged, and this world must go. All I've encountered in my time are people manipulating each other for their own personal gain. I've been everyone's pawn, meant solely to obey and kill for their will. Killing not to survive, but to get a bit more power for themselves. No blood on their hands directly, they force others to kill those they don't know and have no reason to kill beyond being told to by those cowards who are never satisfied. Yes, a purge is needed. Instead of passively waiting, one must act. One must hunt." Garritios' sanity is questionable at this point. The amount of experiments and experiences of recent, along with the immense power surge has done a number on his mind. The time with the emerald and the current sensory deprivation isn't helping matters.
Garritios had no trouble catching the kunai, a simple diagonal movement of his body and a grab of his hand is all it takes. He steals By-Tor's sword, confused at the tail but not letting it bother him. After the bright flash, his numbness had given him the a sense of being dead. He closes his eyes for a moment, taking a breath. "Why do you fight?" he asks calmly.
