I would give the ATI 4850 a try. It will retail at $175 or so US dollars, and will beat out any other nvidia card in that price range, including the touted 9800gt. With this card you will be able to render any game on the market today, including crysis with very respectable framerates. Though you cant use newegg, perhaps you can use TigerDirect, a comparable site (they just bought compusa out).

EDIT: I didnt realize that it wasent for gaming. In that case the 3650 will be fine. ATI generally has better video support for non gaming than nvidia.

I was wondering if I can play oblivion on my current comp. 2 gig ram, 3.0gz pentium 4, and a gforce 6200 oc card. If that wont run are there any PCI cards that will run it with 300w?

Hey all, just wondering if I should even bother getting the game now and if it will be playable on my comp. I have an old computer that uses PCI slots so the best graphics card I could put in was a 6200 geforce oc. I know it sucks but would it even be possible on mid or low settings? Thanks in advance

[QUOTE="DJ_5"]

Is Sadness coming later this year? :|

SER69

Sadness is scheduled for autumn 2009.

I saw what they had up on their website, and I was dissappionted. The spelling and grammar was poor, and they really didnt have anything new up that we didnt know already. Im skeptical but still holding out a little hope for it.

As for E3..

1. Little King Story (gotta love that RTS/Sim game mix)

2. The Conduit (the screens look great)

3. Tales of Symphonia 2 (big fan of the first one)

4. Mushroom Men (interesting)

5. Arc Fantasia (more RPGs? gimme gimme gimme)

and so many more...I need to start saving now.

I don't understand why people are always so eager to predict the demise of a particular console. I love the fact that there are consoles for every kind of gamer available. I'm not a fan of the Wii, but I love the fact that all of the consoles seem to be thriving, no matter what fanboys may lead you to believe. A diverse selection of video game platforms has been an awesome thing to experience.heretrix

Nice to see a bit of clairity in SW. Video games have become much more mainstream than ten years ago, thanks to sony, nintendo, and even M$.

EDIT:

As for the TC...I think its silly to say that the wii is "dead" or has "lost its magic." There are many great games out right now, along with a lot of great looking games with a lot of potential. Mushroom Men, Arc Fantasia, Tales of Symphonia 2, The Conduit, Fatal Frame, Disaster, Day of Crisis, and Little King story are all games that I'm excited for (all are 3rd party). Not to mention the new Wario game and a major franchise TBA (zelda, pikmin). For me there is still a lot to look foreward to.

They are comming out with some great games at E3...There is a thread about it here somewhere. Mushroom Men, The Conduit, Tales of Symphonia, Arc Fantasia, and Little King Story are just a few of many that are worthy of note that are being released in the next 6 months. Not to mention a major franchise game that is TBA (Zelda, Starfox, F-Zero...). I would hold off on selling your wii, the next 6 months are going to produce some great games IMO.

Figured I'd ask here. I'm buying a wii this weekend and was looking to grab 2 games to go with it. Now i was considering Galaxy and Okami..but I'm wanting long games with replayability.

Any recommendations?

CreepyBacon

I would get Legend of Zelda : TP over okami. Longer game (40 hrs) better controls. If you like turn based strat games then get Fire Emblem. Galaxy is a great game, and for action go with Metroid Prime 3.

There are plenty of exciting new titles coming out. Mushroom Men, the Conduit, Disaster: Day of Crisis, little king story, tales of symphonia 2, arc fantasia, sonic unleashed, as well as a major franchise that is TBA. For me there is a lot to look forward to.
