Super Monkey Ball - The first two on Gamecube were amazing. All of the sequels after that have been medicore at best.

Castlevania - I loved the old school classic Castlevania games. Once the series changed to the Metroidvania formula, it lost me.

WWE games - Wrestling games used to always be fun and something that I looked forward to every year, but ever since 2K took over the license, the games have been garbage.

I'm surprised that developers don't make games with dinosaurs more often. Dinosaurs are always very popular so it seems like a missed opportunity.

1. Nintendo - The majority of favorite games of this generation were Wii U or Switch exclusives.

2. Xbox One - The best controller and the best online service makes it my go-to console for multiplats. It's also my 4K Blu-ray player.

3. PC - I have never really enjoyed playing traditional games on a PC as I prefer the console experience. PC is the only system that can currently deliver quality room-scale VR though and that alone had me using it much more than my PS4.

4. PS4 - I've always liked to buy all major consoles every single generation so that I don't miss out on anything. The PS4 is the first time in my life that I have ever regretted buying a console. I've always preferred other consoles for multiplats, but past Sony consoles would still deliver at least a handful of exclusives that I enjoyed to give it value to me. That didn't happen this generation since Sony just went all-in on movie-games that I don't give a crap about. They temporarily had two exclusives that I enjoyed but those games eventually went multiplat and left the PS4 with nothing of value to me that I can't get on one of my other systems.

Only if I could then sell the 2080ti and use that money to rebuy my consoles plus other stuff.

Otherwise, hell no. I simply have no interest in playing games on a PC. I prefer consoles, always have and always will.

There is no way in hell that I could wait two or three years before getting a next gen console. I'll be getting the next Xbox at launch and then if the mid-gen Pro version ends up being a worthy upgrade, I'll sell my Base version and buy the Pro version.

After wasting my money on the PS4 and getting no value from it, Sony is going to have to prove that the PS5 offers some value before I purchase it. If the PS5 ever does prove to offer some value then I will buy the best version of it that is available at that time.

2D platformers have always been my favorite since I first started gaming.

1997

The N64 had just released and was quickly starting to deliver the best multiplayer experiences ever! I had so much fun playing Goldeneye 007, Mario Kart 64, and WCW vs. nWo World Tour with my friends nearly every day after school. And on the single player side, I had a lot of fun with Super Mario 64, Star Fox 64, and Crash Bandicoot 2 that year as well.

1997 is not just my favorite year in gaming, it's my favorite year of my entire life in general. If I had the ability to go back in time and relive one year of my life, it would be 1997.

I love Earthworm Jim and I never thought we would get another game in this series especially not from the original creators, so I'm super excited for this!

I like most of Tommy Tallarico's vision for the Amico and now with an exclusive Earthworm Jim game, I'm probably going to buy it when it releases.

It doesn't deserve all it's hate, but it aso doesn't deserve all it's popularity. PUBG is the far superior Battle Royale game and the only reason Fortnite is more popular is because it's free to play and got released on all platforms.
