@Jag85: I played the GBA versions of 1 and 2. And yeah thats what makes Vaan awesome. He literally just tags along because he wants to become a skypirate. But he's beautifully written and handled. He knows he's not the hero, and he doesn't want to be the hero. He's not arrogant, and that's why I love him.

@Jag85: Final Fantasy 1 and 2 haven't aged horribly... especially Final Fantasy 2 which is still Incredible (It's much better than 4).
