@Thanatos2k: It is mostly white men. It wasn't black men who complained about the protagonist in Watchdogs 2 (and there were a lot SJW comments on that too) and it isn't generally women complaining about this game either.
@Marthanna: Actually it really is you who gives women a bad name, because you lack the understanding of feminism is.
You'll gain a lot of support from the scared man-babies on here, but in reality representation of women in the videogame and film medium is still minor and is not representative of the populous.
The fact is every comment on here say "SJW" which just cancels out any argument, because it means that people have a limited understanding of representation.
@Neo_Sarevok: What? I mean that's just nonsense. Feminism is about equality and that's what the vast majority want, it's nothing about judging.
It's not OK to judge anyone. But the fear men have (and the vast majority are white men) when faced with the idea of equality is disgusting. Every top comment is about "SJW agenda's". It's completely missing the point trying to put women in a more prominent roles in videogames and it literally harms no one, but gamers are such big babies. I'm not the biggest fan of how they've shoehorned in a woman into this particular game - rather than trusting that a woman can lead a new franchise of a similar ilk, but at least they are trying!
Anyone would think there was going to be a shortage of male lead characters.
@vs_shield: Women played a minor role.... on the front lines yes, but there wouldn't have been any ammunition's, any economy, any nurses if they weren't there. They may have played mostly supporting roles but that should not be diminished.
Furthermore, the moment anyone utters SJW you lose the argument. Social Justice Warrior used to be a term of endearment until entitled white men decided they didn't like equality.
@ccgod: Why would I actively go to a place where people get shot daily, and why would I care what baby names are?
Your defence is completely idiotic. The homicide rate in the USA is almost 5x higher than that of the UK. Yes we have had a couple of awful terrorist attacks but they are infinitely more rare and less deadly than the mass shootings in the USA. How many school shootings have there been so far this year? 23 by May wasn't it. Last school shooting in the UK was in 1996.
Very little can defend a regular person against a bullet, do they work as a deterrent....maybe, but if guns weren't accessible they wouldn't be necessary as a deterrent.
I also don't care that we are being "bred out". One because white people still make up the vast majority of the UK and two because I believe we should mix cultures. Give me a curry over bangers and mash any day.
