Which part of Persona 5 sold around 1 million copies you didn't understand?
The vast majority of ps4 owners don't even buy exclusives. It's all about multiplats to them. They don't even have a capable gaming PC as they stick to 30 fps games on their consoles. Need me to draw a picture or something?
@Thanatos2k: Last time I checked persona 5 sold less than 1M copies and that's with every weeb here begging everyone else to buy the game. This is barely 3% of the installed base, the other 97% dgaf.
The single reason ps4 outsold 2:1 was it costed $100 less and packed 10-20% more power, it was a better deal for people who wanted multiplats at the time. It didn't have games, it was all about 1080x900p comparison tables even if Microsoft console had way better titles in the first year. No wonder X is outselling the Pro right now, as much as I love PC I understand some people stick to consoles and they want the best versions of the games that actually matter to them.
This is exactly what the numbers show. People care about power and multiplats, no matter how mucn you want to believe people are into weeb games about underage anime girls in swimsuits.
What you are tying to do is move the goal post, it was all about pixel count until last year now these comparisons are gone and as we are overwhelmed by great multiplatform games this 2nd half of 2017 you want to hate on a console because the fact that it runs the best console versions of these games get to your nerve. You might think this article is your safe space but it's not, I'll gladly shove the truth into your face until you stfu.
@playstationzone: He just spent a lot of it delivering a fully featured 6 teraflop console for only $500. He didn't seem to mind EA Access and cross-platform as well.
Also, he isn't too keen on forcing 30 fps games on people for the sake of exclusivity.
Gotta love how many people pretend to be PC gamers yet 9 ou of 10 best selling PS4 titles are multiplats and most exclusives don't even reach 2% of the installed base.
Oh wait, they like playing at 30 fps/gimped settings? haha

CoD is a small scale fast paced shooter where your survival is based on prediction and quick reaction and you always have a fair chance against anything that threatens you. It also has an awful lot of character customization which allows you to suit you character to your particular playstyle. Anyone can wield a sniper rifle or a shotgun or any gadget and grenade. It's very focused on the player rather than the team and it's a good thing because most of the time you have only yourself to blame.
I don't see why many people wouldn't like that as well. And they do. No wonder old entries in the series like MW3 and BO2 have their multiplayer alive to this day.
But then again, I love BF1 too, I just think it's very different and I have no reason to hate on CoD.
