Is being scared of shadows similar to being scared of the dark? It has an enlightening effect; being offended, being pushed beyond your limit of your imagination. Kudos to those who choose to respond as to react.

I picked up the G.T.A IV Collectors and still use the lock box. The key chain is still on my ring of keys. Am I collecting it for the purpose of fifty years down the road to resell it to make a profit; no. I've picked up various other collector editions, there is usually music, coffee table art book and a action figure; with no complaints from me. Does it make the game any better? Seeing the depth of game design that's discussed in an art book regarding the game creates an sense of appreciation. Besides that, it keeps the kid in my alive :P

IMO can be such an offense if it does not align with what the other's (IMO) may be. Is it as simple as thanking the other for having the trust to share their opinion? Is that what respect is? In one's search for meaning and being able to identify; is the simple act of mutual respect, the "grease" that allows civilization to carry through.

But then what is trust? With-in myself, it's self-reliance through honesty with my self. With the other... can I put my trust in you to accept that I am me, not you; as you are you and not a reflection of myself.

Biden would come from an age when other games took life needlessly... Chcicken.

As Bertrand Russell is qouted "Since the nuclear stalemate became apparent, the Governments of East and West have adopted the policy which Mr. Dulles calls 'brinkmanship'. This is a policy adapted from a sport which, I am told, is practiced by some youthful degenerates. This sport is called 'Chicken!'. It is played by choosing a long straight road with a white line down the middle and starting two very fast cars towards each other from opposite ends. Each car is expected to keep the wheels of one side on the white line. As they approach each other, mutual destruction becomes more and more imminent. If one of them swerves from the white line before the other, the other, as he passes, shouts 'Chicken!', and the one who has swerved becomes an object of contempt. As played by irresponsible boys, this game is considered decadent and immoral, though only the lives of the players are risked. But when the game is played by eminent statesmen, who risk not only their own lives but those of many hundreds of millions of human beings, it is thought on both sides that the statesmen on one side are displaying a high degree of wisdom and courage, and only the statesmen on the other side are reprehensible. This, of course, is absurd. Both are to blame for playing such an incredibly dangerous game. The game may be played without misfortune a few times, but sooner or later it will come to be felt that loss of face is more dreadful than nuclear annihilation. The moment will come when neither side can face the derisive cry of 'Chicken!' from the other side. When that moment is come, the statesmen of both sides will plunge the world into destruction."

How many of our "leaders" opperate on this basis? Listen to the parties speak, see how they act. To where are we being lead if one chooses to be party to the heard? Let a team of psychoanalysts observe and report on how the negative reinforcement spawned on either side will only serve to deepen the rift. Think about the children... as we are all "somebodies" child.

All we are buying is the license to play; we don't actually own any of the media. As soon as the publisher starts "to present us with information on all extraneous content ahead of time--including pricing and release dates" then you encounter the probability of a lawsuit(s). Then games start costing $70.

What a wonderful marketing tool the ability to relate a character to a audience member, even better without alienating the remainder. As I see it, the true contradiction is digitized violence portrays real violence? Isn't it all art that only provokes emotions? Are we in tune enough with emotions, to identify the difference?

Estimate how much the PS Vita would cost with SSD instead of it's memory card? Not just money, but size and heat.

When the 3d is combined with the motion controllers, it will demonstrate the capabilities of the games connection with the player. These new t.v's with wireless connections with devices, not just the 3d are going to be great. I think that it (3d) will add a new level of complexity to games that is long over due.
