@Myron117: IG also had somewhere under 2 months to do the port job. They were too small a studio taking on too large a task with nowhere near enough time. While not innocent, Iron Galaxy is less to blame than WB Interactive who severely underestimated the time and staff needed for a good PC port job.

@Richardthe3rd: The PC Version is supposed to land at some point in March, and Season 3 content should begin around the same time. If you've purchased any content for Xbox One then you will have access to that content on the PC as well(And vice versa is you start on PC and decide to pick up an X1 later).

As long as I'm not buddy carrying bombs through haunted houses or slowly trudging through a giant worm that involves little to no combat. I don't know, my relationship with Gears is more hate than love, but I enjoy the action enough to want to give it a try.

I do also demand Horde mode confirmation before I even care.

A long time ago I kinda joked that SFV wouldn't even be the best console exclusive fighter on PS4 because of Guilty Gear Xrd....while I'm waiting to pass my personal judgment on SFV until I pick it up in June (When it's complete?), I do have to say that Guilty Gear had every missing mode from SFV at launch with a kinda cool six hour story cinematic. Right now I'm looking forward more towards Revelator and Blazblue:Central Fiction than even the final SF product that'll release in the summer.

@reduc_ab_: Eh, maybe a little. I'd say it has more to do with them not wanting to create yet another piece of hardware that gets ridiculed for years before becoming viable or stable (You know like the Surface and it's ilk until the Pro 3). Microsoft has a long history of releasing new hardware too early, or not marketing it correctly, or both, and then having to spend years of tweaking, rebranding or outright begging to get the public to give things a second look. They've been doing this since before the PS4 existed, and even before the Xbox was a thought, and they may have finally learned their lesson. I always say this about MS...first impressions are not their strongest point.

@reduc_ab_: Sony has nothing to do with it. Microsoft is undergoing a change in focus due to a change in leadership. Their days of jumping into every hardware segment with no centralized plan is over. Everything they make from here on is going to tie together into the larger scheme of making Windows an appealing platform again (or ever, depending on your PoV).

Good, though if you don't change your quality control on games, Hololens will flop with gamers due to shovelware. I've always held that both Kinects 1 and 2 were nice pieces of hardware, but only Microsoft's first party studios could make games that didn't suck, and yet tons of games flooded the shelves with half-finished motion controls or slight adaptations from wii-mote sensing to terrible body tracking. It was never the hardware, it was MS just not being hard enough of third party software.

@kadaverhagga: Not everything in the windows store runs as an app. The problem with the W10 store right now is that most games on it are mobile/tablet games modified into universal apps. These apps won't have the same features or options as a full blown pc application. Killer Instincts pc release is Microsoft's shot to both show off the windows store(it needs a touch up) and deliver a quality pc port of a game you can only find in their ecosystem. I'm rooting for KIs success, but I'm also keeping in mind that first impressions are not Microsoft's strongest area.
