Personally I don't see what the big deal is about this 3D. It's just another ploy to get more money out of gullible gamers. What's worse is now they'll all but ignore the real DS-Lite and all we'll get for that handheld is a bunch of crappy games while the 3DS is in the spotlight.

I had to sell my DS and all the games last summer because I needed the money for bills. It was a bummer and I was heartbroken about it, but that's life sometimes. Fortunately I was able to get a new DS Lite last week and I picked up my first new game for it (Phantom Hourglass). This is an awesome game and as I started playing it I got to thinkingabout all the Zelda games I've played through the years.I wrote a blog entry about this - Zelda Through the Ages. Come check it out and if you want share about your Zelda memories in the comments.
You GS people really got to get it together. If I click the News link at the top of the page it takes me to a blank page. And if I am writing a message - like right now - I look up and see that only half of what I wrote is on the text screen. Where did the cursor go? I sometimes wonder if GS hires monkies to work on their web site. Actually monkies would probably do a better job.
Oh and here's another good example - right now I can't access my user profile page, or blog page (or whatever its called). When I click my photo or username at the top to go to my page all I get is the GS top header section and the footer - there's nothing in between.
Update: My apologies - it was AdBlock Plus. I disabled it and now everything is fine. Sorry. Out of curiosity, why would ABP mess up the GS profile page?
Browser and OS?
Firefox (ver 3.0.10) and Windows XP Home (SP3)
Which pages of the site (pages, sections, site features) are noticeably slow for you?
It depends, but it's usually any page.
If the speed issue is new, when did you notice the change?
This isn't a new issue. It's always been like this.
Is the slowness in the initial page load (time between clicking on a link and having the server respond) or in the page render (the time the page takes to build and become responsive once the new link starts to open)? Or does the speed issue occur after load, such as during scrolling?
When I click any link it just sits there for a while, and then eventually the page will load (or sometimes the page won't load at all). This doesn't happen all the time, but it happens enough to be annoying.
Are you using special browser plug-ins or themes (some users have reported issues with specific Firefox themes)? Does temporarily turning off the add-ons improve the speed?
None of my addons would effect page loads.
Jordan, thank you for compiling this list. I was looking for other games to play on the Wii and now I've found them.
I keep seeing black Wiis on some sites (even Amazon), but I never located any so I had to settle for the white one.
