@suplax I think they removed it because it puts the knife in the player's hand, which would make it much more realistic and gruesome versus just watching Sam do it in a movie scene. Call me a wuss, but personally, I don't think I could simulate torture in a game.
From what I've heard in other Simcity videos, you CAN play single player, but you have to have an internet connection. Others have said that one doesn't need an Origin account in order to play, which would be awesome.
@trencher10B The developers said that the regions can't be changed. Their whole reasoning behind this idea was for players to treat the regions like 'puzzles' and to try and figure out how they will build in that particular region.
How about they stop sending kids to psychiatrists and stop giving them prescribed medications that have suicidal/violent side effects that cause them to go on such rampages in the first place?
@oflow Exactly. These people are hypocrites. It's like after the parents drop off the violent video games they go home and watch a violent TV show with their kids and feel good that they got rid of those 'evil' games.
Old farts blaming things they don't understand. I'm sorry, but I bet this guy has never played a video game in his life. Heck, one of my first games ever, next to Super Mario Bros, was Robocop on the NES, and that was a violent game for a young kid. I've never had an inkling to kill someone as a result of playing it. Same with modern shooters. Of course, most modern games should be kept from children due to the realistic violence in them, so that's common sense on the parents part. Stupid parents, lol.
