HOLY CRAP ON A CRACKER!!! 50GB??? That's crazy! I have no objection on the RAM (although will drain my system to full capacity) but the disk space is just crazy!!!!

You see this is the problem since AC II. THIS IS A FREAKIN STEALTH GAME I SEE NO STEALTH JUST A PIRATE WREAKING HAVOC.

Cool.

NOT Assassin's Creed.

You sir have summarized my problem with AC III, a problem that I myself could not explain because I LOVE the games and when AC 3 got out I was like.... "Why I don't like this?"

And it had nothing to do with the setting or the Desmond part of the story, it had to do more with the fact that I "felt" the simulation. The story was frankly uninteresting and boring at many levels and the character was not loveable. I know what Conor fans (are there any?) would say but still ppl, the character was no fun. When I was playing the old games I always felt a warmth and joy to see the next sequence plot unfolding. With ACIII however that feeling was lost. The world was TOO big and TOO much uninhabited for me to work as a suitable environment for an AC game. The core of the game was to blend in, become one with a faceless mass, a crowd, not hide in your tree house and wait for the wolf pack or the British patrol to leave the area. Also, It felt kinda ridiculous giving orders to Patriots during the hill battle. It just didn't make sense to me. That was the moment I felt like "ok, I am playing "Patriot's Creed: War to Liberty".

The newest title might "feel" better because Iike the theme. Naval battles scream "play me!" but again, the world is not populated densely enough for me to feel comfortable as a stealthy Assassin. The environment does have more mysticism and adventure in it so I will give it a shot, the last one I am giving to the series.

@BAT-Baal At last someone with perspective. True, this is a good thing that had to be done but had many drawbacks (like this one). Now we are going to get some awesome games.

@SirNormanislost In other news, a male caucasian age 25 was found dead in an alley close to his house. The police later on discovered a note in the victim's home, writen by what it seems to be Disney's Donald Duck. The threatening note suggested that the beloved character was kept in doll form and captivity by the victim for the past 22 years.
