Her switch from being a shunned outcast to a respected "seeker" is very abrupt, which is fine. What's weird is how quickly SHE changes. Once a bitter loner who talks to herself like a mad person and the next minute accepting and expecting adulation like a stuck-up prig. Aloy is not a particularly good or interesting character, really. She falls neatly in line with the other tragedy-overcomers. And her affected gravitas coupled with the fact that she's like 16 makes her a slightly more annoying variety. In other words, I DISAGREE. I probably could have said that instead.
