Nintendo is a Multinational Corporation and they don’t form their strategies based on fanboy-demands or comments!
Most of you are not educated (in terms of marketing strategies) so it is impossible for you to understand their decisions. So, allow me to educate you!
When you have Sony and Microsoft producing and promoting PS4 and PS4 Slim and PS4 pro and then Xbox One/S/etc. you don’t release a console that aims to compete against the aforementioned platforms…it’s insane. Instead you follow a DIFFERENTIATION STRATEGY and your goal is to become the alternative choice. In other words, I own a PS4….what is the value of buying an xbox (same games, similar specs)…the exclusives are not enough to make a difference. So, the next best option is to buy Nswitch with ZELDA.
You need to educate yourselves people….WAKE UP AND SMELL THE NINTENDO COFFEE!!!!
Anything more than 300€ would be a difficult price to justify...let us not forget that the new zelda game will cost at least 60€...and that changes the price to 360€....which is expensive!!! Tech-wise nintendo decided not to compete against Sony / Microsoft but price-wise they have no choice but to do so...if they want to gain back the people that they lost with the wii U failure. No matter what I am pre-ordering switch so as to play a real zelda adventure and not the spin-off tales of the past.
@Atzenkiller: I prefer to play zelda 10 if that game is a masterpiece (and so far everything points to that direction) rather than play a new title and sell the game after 2 weeks....you are a hater.
@soul_starter: The wii had different specs from the game-cube so this is NOT a legitimate question. When a company releases a new console it CANNOT have the same specs as the previous one!!!!!!!!!
Nintendo Switch & Zelda = day one purchase. I don't need another "powerful" console with boring titles........I need Zelda, Mario, Metroid, Donkey Kong, and Yooka-Laylee....that's what I need and that's what YOU need people. DAY ONE!!!!
This game is not a common survivor horror game….this is Shinji Mikami’s return and some of you take it very lightly. I don’t think you really understand what’s going on here…people like Mikami deliver….that is why he is known as the “father” of the genre! He has unmatched talent and years of experience….if you don’t understand this then go back to call of duty! The evil within is a game specifically designed for survival horror players….its unforgiving, cruel and atmospheric all the way until it produces pure horror and agony…it’s not meant for the CASUAL player…realize that and save your money for games like Destiny etc…..for me this is a day one purchase…straight up pre-order….and day one purchase of the DLC….not because I am a fanboy….but because I understand the full extent of this specific project…..
This game is dead...Capcom is so Lazy....its been 6 years since the official release of the original title and those lazy bastards don't have anything new to announce other than a pathetic remake of the same old BS...
