Totally agree on Shovel Knight, that game is insane! I think they've come out with a new one recently too . . .

I loved every minute of that movie, it was the perfect ending. I'm not going to say anymore so as not to spoil it for others, but it was easily the best of this current trilogy in my opinion, and up there amongst my top Star Wars films in general. Can't wait to see where they go with the franchise next!

Twisted Metal 2 was the one for me and my buddies . . . whoowee that is a beauty! EA's NHL Hockey series also took some leaps forward with that system, evolving quite a bit.

Still have to pick up Kingdom Hearts 3, looks like it's getting cheaper though so my slacking will finally pay off! :)

I never had this system but always wanted one. Maybe one day when I'm pursing the shelves of our local used game shops!

The Arkham game series is insane. I haven't play Arkham Asylum yet, but I played Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate for the 3DS, and am in the middle of Batman: Arkham City on the Wii U right now, and I love 'em. There are so many aspects to the gameplay it's insane. If I find I haven't played it in a while I have to relearn the controls all over again! :)

Oh man, speaking of retro, there is a newer game out called Horizon Chase Turbo, which was one of July's free games on PS Plus. It harkens back to early to mid 90's console racers, in my opinion blending Top Gear and the Cruisin' USA series in to one new game that feels old (in a good way). It's especially heavy on the Top Gear theme, even some of the theme songs are identical. Not sure if you ever played Top Gear, or are interested in racers, but it's well worth a look if you are!

@benleslie5: I didn't realize it was released on the PSP, is it any different at all?

@benleslie5: Yeah, and there's a second one too that I'm hopefully going to start in the near future. I love the regular Mega Man X series, isn't it awesome!?
