I can't really see an advantage in "updating " for 60 or 40 bucks...the game looks the same, other than the tweaks to the ball control, which hardly seems something new.

Since many of you probably already did the leap, I was wondering how the 2 games compare, and if it is worth to wait for Fifa 16. I already did the update from Fifa 12 to 13 and was really a waste of money.

Update:

Got a gb of ram at local computer store for 20 bucks, plus a 6200 from the same store, in the meantime that the ATI 2600 pro will arrive via mail.

As now the computer is performing pretty well; but the computer store guy told me that probably the 2600 will have problems, because it heats up easily, plus requires more power than what my poor shuttle can give (i don't remember but it is a 160W maybe); so probably it will not even fit in the computer at all :(

We will see when it will come in my mailbox :)

Hi there

I am trying to understand what would be the best choice to run old games like neverwinter nights, baldur's gate 1 and 2, icewind dale, kotor 1 and 2, theme hospital, star trek bridge commander and starfleet academy 3 and such.....the list is long :)

At the moment i have a mac pro with W7 via bootcamp, it works fine with modern games, but for the old games is a pain; the screen does not resize, giving pixels out like if i was on 320x240; or going with a small window in the middle of the screen that makes you think why did you spent money to buy a 24 inch lcd :) Many other games don't even start or crash as soon as i launch them, so I decided that maybe is better to have a dedicated system to run these old goodies :)

So I've pulled out of my closet an old ShuttleX, is a P4 (3.2 maybe?), the ram is 1gb and the speed is 400 (so is 200x2 since is DDR); I can add another memory stick since there is only 1 slot available. The graphic is integrated on the mobo, but it has an AGP slot (4x or 8x...not sure, i only know that is a 1.5V so should be 4x).

Now my questions are:

1)is this system enough to play these old games? I am planning to install Xp on it

2) should i get an agp card? If yes, which model sold today is enough to play these games? The shuttle is pretty small (a cube-ish shape basically, is an old model called SB61G2), so i need a card that uses little power, does not overheat that much and is low profile, since the agp slot is right on the left side of the mobo, so once that you put the cover on it there is very little space

3) is there anything sold today that is cheap cheap cheap, and small and can run the aforementioned games? In this way i just get it and throw away the shuttleX :P

Thanks in advance; tried with a netbook but the results were pretty bad, so i guess that it is not an option, so gotta go for a regular desktop computer, but would like to get the smallest that you can get without spending a fortune (i am planning to spend not more than 40 bucks for the video card, or not more than 200 for another system).
