It seems like someone doesn't trust his audience to remember some excellent games. People are concerned about the frequency of releases partly because it affects quality. I've only played the first Assassin's Creed, but if I've heard correctly, the series thus far peaked at AC2 before releasing entries annually. Also, some people are just plain burnt out on Assassin's Creed at this point, regardless of quality. This is how I felt with the Professor Layton series; after 3 great games in 3 years with little change, I didn't pick up the 4th game released the next year because I was tired of it.

I'm really intrigued by this. I don't think I've heard of a game tackling this theme, and it seems to do so in a very powerful and imaginative way.

Another great episode! Hopefully you guys will nail the formula of the podcast soon enough to start including some listener interaction.

I watch games played by GameSpot and Giantbomb because I look up to the staff as critics and as people. It's always interesting to hear their reactions to games as they play them and learn what the knowledge they have to share in terms of games and games criticism. Not to mention they're often as hilarious as they are insightful. In terms of what I like to watch, I prefer watching reactions to strange, hectic, and over-the-top games like Deadly Premonition, Noby Noby Boy, and plenty of others.

@ArcherRO But really when one hurt himself, aren't other people with relationships to that person, at the very least, emotionally hurt?

Great show, guys. The developer obligation question regarding the Diablo III death is really tough and should be challenged by the industry. I think a developer should be able to make whatever game they want to, but perhaps notifications for playing obscene amounts of a game should be the bare minimum for trying to protect consumers. Still need to think about that.

As for ME3's release on the Wii U, I agree with Tom. I missed the first game because I played the series on PS3 and still enjoyed ME2 immensely because it was still developing relationships between Shepard and his crew (though I do feel like I missed some important context). ME3 on the other hand is all about challenging your relationships with the characters (and races) through sacrifice, and I just don't think a newcomer to the series would be affected by the story events as much as someone who played the predecessors.

Also, some really strange Witcher 2 footage in this video. :P

@Greyfeld Quoted for Truth, which covers news, still exists, and if I heard correctly, there will be an episode up today. It's not daily, but it's still a very good show.

Really enjoyed the talk of pet peeves of reviews, and I laughed quite openly in the later parts of the episode, such as the bit regarding the country with IKEAs. :P

The listener is indeed the winner!
