Seeing this as well on Windows 8. My guess is that it stands for Virtual Machine failed to create a User Interface. Have no idea how to fix it but I guess it must be some sort of incompatibility with the operating system. I really want to play this game so I guess I will have to install Windows XP or something.

I just discovered this game recently and can't belive on all the amazing gaming I've missed out on in so many years. It is a real hidden gem (or it was hidden from me at least). If you haven't played this yet, I highly recommend you do.

This was an awesome game ... but just a prelude to the amazing Stronghold Crusader, one of the best strategy games ever made in my opinion. Stronghold should get a modern day sequel, I have no doubt it would be a hit.

Had tons of fun playing this back in the day. A really amazing game for when it was released and a great concept that lives on. Worms really is an important piece of gaming history.

I was thinking the exact same thing after playing this again for a couple of days. A sequel to Crusader using modern tech would make for an astonishing game. Or perhaps they're saving it for when the devs run out of ideas lol.
