99% would agree that it was a good decision. Many think Twilight Princess is the best Zelda game ever made and I think it's one of the best though my favourite is still A Link To The Past.

I didn't play Wind Waker and Twilight Princess until this year when I bought a WiiU. Started off with Twilight Princess and would have to say it's a great Zelda game but it hasn't aged very well. The graphics look very outdated and bland and riding the horse was a pain.

Wind Waker, on the other hand, looks lovely. Nintendo were ahead of time when they released it. Look at mobile games today - many of them have exactly the same graphic design as Wind Waker. The game looks pretty good by today's standard. I downloaded OoT on my WiiU but I don't think I'll be able to play it, the game is simply too old and outdated but it would be awesome if they could release a remake that uses today's gamepad/gameplay mechanics.

My biggest problem with Zelda games is that they are too easy and kid-friendly. Wind Waker was extremely easy - boss fights you usually kill on the first or second try. Same with Twilight Princess. The puzzles are also a bit repetitive, many of the puzzles are the same once we saw back in the SNES era.

I'm looking forward to the new Zelda, it looks great and it's the type of design that can appeal people 10 years from now without it looking old and low-res like Twilight Princess. I do hope, however, that Nintendo at some point in time makes a more challenging Zelda game where enemies aren't so easy to kill and where boss battles actually are a challenge. Think how great a Zelda type Witcher 3 could be (in terms of leveling up, crafting things, challenging boss/creature fights).

@PS2fweak: I've calmed down but I still have the same opinion! The only thing that looked interesting was that you could turn into a demon with different characteristics (a bit like the runes in Quake).

Does anyone actually think this looks like a game taking place in the Doom universe if you were to remove the demons? I don't think so and that's what I find disappointing.

The visual design is something that also gets no love from me. I don't need high-res textures and models, but to me it looked like the game lacked a lot of detail. It looks empty and plastic, reminds me a bit about PS2 shooters (though obviously it of course looks better than that).

As said in previous post, it's like a combination between several different shooters. Railgun from Quake 2, original Halo design on player characters and force fields, stripped down graphics/lack of detail like the original Unreal Tournament game.

Who knows, this game might turn out great, but I predict it'll be rated around 6, max 7 on Gamespot. Decent game, but probably nothing you'll return to after 1 year.

Obviously the game could turn out great, we don't know yet, but I've lowered my expectations considerably so hopefully it'll be a pleasant surprise when I get to play it.

This looks absolutely terrible. I thought that the advert was still running until I realized it was actually Doom. Looks like they've taken the worst parts from Quake 4/Halo/Unreal Tournament and put it all together. The design is absolutely horrendous. It does not seem to be related to the Doom universe whatsoever except for the demons. The only thing that looked pretty cool was that you could turn into a demon, the rest looked pathetic. Very, very disappointed. I hope single player is nothing like this though one can assume the graphic and map design will be just as bad.

I don't quite see the point in rebooting Doom if they are simply building a Quake 4 clone. Wasn't Doom 3 successful? I think they should have gone with the Doom 3 type of game, maybe more focus on action and less on horror. This game looks like Quake 4 and has very outdated visuals and lack of detail.

@Beasthunt: It's true she wasn't exposed, most MMA fans were already aware of her major flaws but media and casual fans held her in the same regards as Aldo, MM and TJ. In what world should her skill set be compared to these guys? In what world would she be able to beat any male BW in the UFC, Cain or even the entire WBW division with one arm? Ronda can't strike and she only relies on judo throws to get the fight to the ground. She's got amazing arm bars, yes, but she's a one trick pony. She's got a lot of power which works well against poor strikers like Correia (she is absolutely awful) but it doesn't work as well when you're facing someone who actually can strike. Ronda has done amazing things for the sport in general and WMMA in particular, but she's arrogant, delusional, lacks sportsmanship and she was so ridiculously overrated that most MMA fans were incredibly happy when the hype died. Holm bless.
