@deviltaz35: Uncharted 4 was painfully frustrating at times. The line between challenging and annoying was crossed a few times when I played it.

@reznik00: What can you expect from modern journalists? I've never played Medievil and am about halfway through it now, the issues I've faced are very minor and am thoroughly enjoying it more than most AAA games. The levels aren't long and require thought to overcome. Dying and having to replay them actually makes me think, a checkpoint system would just frustrate me into trying different random things without thought until something sticks.

Don't know whats wrong with these people, we need more charming, challenging games like this....I think gamers have gotten too used to checkpoints, waypoints, health regeneration and cannot take a challenge.

@pdqstyl3: What's the point of a remaster if the feel of the old game has been dumbed down to suit modern casuals? I've never played Medievil and have never been a Sony fan, however I'm, having a blast with this game, it's better and more rewarding and challenging than some of the big AAA Sony games that get showered with endless praise. They re-did Ratchet and Clank to be modern in gameplay and story and it just feels shallow...yet that reviewed really well. Modern gamers need to man up and modern mainstream journalism should just die out already.

@pdqstyl3: I'm having more fun with Medievil than I did with Uncharted and Horizon. I'm not a Sony fan, however playing thins without the checkpoint, waypoints and hand holding you get in other games is great. The game isn't very hard, however if you don't think about your approach then you will be punished and will have to restart levels. It does have it's old school quirks, however that's part of the charm.

@judge99: Nothing wrong with replaying levels after making mistakes. If Souls and Sekiro can get away with it, replaying 20 minute long Medievil levels on occasion should be able to as well. Most of the times I had to replay levels were because of mistakes I made, which I learned from. Heaven forbid a modern gamer has to learn to think about how they play their game...

@mogan: I've never played it and I'm really enjoying it. Old school charm is great, not everything needs to be super modern and dumbed down to make it appealing to CoD casuals.

@KiriharaZro: I never played this game and I've never been a Sony fan, however this game is refreshing. It has it's old school flaws, however that was what gaming was in the 90's....I'm glad they haven't destroyed the charm by making it a modern game.

@DuaMn: Oh no, we may have to replay 20 minute long levels and learn from our mistakes on occasion.....

Modern gamers these days don't understand what a game is without having minimaps, waypoints and frequent checkpoints.

@Raidendude153: Oh dear...I don't know how people like you exist.

It's great you value fast loading times. Good on you, if you're happy, keep doing what you're doing. See what I'm doing?

If you're going to infer superiority and be a d!ck because you bought a prebuilt system (lol) and 256 gb SSD (lol) then yes, you are a peasant.

My system was custom built by me with a 1tb SSD internal and 3 tb SSD external. 1080p is now obsolete to me and my library of games on Steam is likely far greater than yours. Not, bragging, but if you're going denounce my setup and brag about yours, then just sit down kiddo.

I also have a 4K TV where I play games like AC Origins, Gears 4 and Witcher 3 in 4K with HDR, which makes the games look pre-rendered at times. It's glorious. You cannot experience this, yet you brag (lol).

You also seem to think that gamers should have only one system, and a cheap one. I'm sorry you don't have the money or are too st!ngy to buy a 4K TV and a capable console/PC, but I assure you - I am very happy with all of my systems and plan on buying a Pro (i.e spending more money because I can and enjoy games regardless of money).

As I said, if you're happy then keep doing what you're doing. It's insane to put someone else down for having a better system and a console that outclasses your PC, i.e more options than you (OPTIONS is the key word). Learn it and study it.
