Last year I was pissed because my favorite game shown (Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare) wasn't going to a system where I could play it. My Xbox 360 was / is broken, I had no intentions of getting an X1 because of Kinect (clearly this has changed) and I can't (partial paralysis in fingers on my right hand) do shooters on PC. Total bummer, and you can totally laugh at the game choice. :D
This year? Nothing can really get me down, because by the end of 2014 I will own all 3 next gen consoles and by mid 2015 I'll have a new gaming PC (and what I've got now is fairly good anyway.).
So for the most part, what I have to say to publishers and developers is "bring it on!". I want to see great games, I want to see optimistic release dates and I want to get those awesome games in my hands.
The only "disappointment" I could get from E3 is if all we really see are remakes and sequels of stuff we've already played. I know that the new IP game is dangerous, but considering how long games stay in development, a lack of anything new and fresh now is a guarantee we won't be playing anything new and fresh later. That would be troubling.
