For gods sake you fanatic valve defenders, ITS NOT ABOUT THE PRICES OR THAT PEOPLE WANT STUFF FOR FREE. Its about the fact that the same few games have repested everyday to some extent. Go look at todays daily sales, all of them repeating AGAIN. then tomorrow they will repeat as flash sales daily votes. I just want more selection that's all. Thats not entitled, and last I checked valve isn't paying you to defend promote them so stfu. This is an EXTREMELY limited selection of rotating games.. admiting that doesn't mean you don't love valve.. and don't worry gabe won't hate you for it lol

I used my xbox360 for the first time in like 7 months the other day.. and after updating and stuff, was met with a promotion for "buy 3 months of gold get free games". So it looks like MS might try their own PS+ thing.

First off I have had PS+ in the past. But isn't saying "you get free games from PS+" like saying "i get to own free movies from netflix"?? You pay for a service, and can use the material for as long as you pay the fee(for the games). Also, do you have to be always online to play your "free" PS+ games? I ask honestly cause i don't know, and dont care to google :). But seriously. Saying that you get free games from PS+ doesn't make sense. The way it is right now, you pay a monthly fee to get "game rentals" that last as long as you subsribe... its more of a rental service. =-=-= PS: If sony makes it so when they are no longer supporting the ps3, they make the "free" PS+ games available without subscription. that would be awesome. PPS: if it is required to be "always online" to play the PS+ games.. oh hehee... its just funny if it is.. given the backlash of the "always online" wagon

Id say its a case of, "Hello nintendo, welcome to the land of the HD-consoles review standards. You're 'next-gen' console will now be held up to a new standard." Wonder how the wii would've played out if they launched first last time :) The Wii U being the first "next-gen" console is going to make reviews 'tougher' as now more is expected of them. =-=-=-==-=-=-=-= Even nintendos first party games have flopped review wise. I'd say, nostalgia(i know sheep hate that word) is wearing off, and people are starting to want "NEW". I know we'll NEVER get a new nintendo franchise, but i would expect them to start dramatically changing and re-inventing their series'. I asking for a "christopher nolan" re-imagining of the mario series please ;).... :D......XD J/K but seriously, something new, please.. that goes for all the console makers.

That is cool, COOL news. I have never EVER had a game make me feel the way journey did. I have a 3 year old, and he doesnt get to see any of my games really(realized after having a child that almost ALL my favourite games arent kid friendly :)), this is one of the few he has gotten to watch, and he found this game amazing as well ;). I have never had a "joyous" feeling from a game like journey did, even how it handled multiplay was inventive and unique. One of the shortest games ive ever played, but none of that mattered by the end. So far my favourite game on ps3. Unique, original and something new, everything as gamers we can wish/hope for. Cheers to the devs, they deserve this award.

so after 5-6 years of cows saying "sales dont matter", here we are. Personally I was hoping sony would overtake MS for this very reason. Fanboy awesomeness at its best. But seriously, all this arguing over second place?? lol geese people.

doesnt matter what this, or other actiblizz games receive as a rating, it will sell millions because of cult following. Every single gamer i knew (Almost) bought diablo 3 out of nostalgia and love, then within 2 weeks, everyone was done and pissed. But hey, cod it popular, and its a sure fire bet you know someone you can play with. me? the only thing i liked about the recent cods was the zombies mode, and that was one of the downpoints so... this game is not for me.

yeah but rockstart would equal: Resident Evil: open world game. I dont want a resident evil sandbox game. I want a rebooted but true to the original installment. Rockstar is an amazing dev, so is Bioware and bethesda. However much i love their games, cant help but notice they are all similar. Oblivion/fallout example. Mass effect and dragon age(although mechanics are different, the animation/characters and conversation "wheel" are all so similar, and feel the same) Rockstar: everything they make is GTA. It would be fine, but i burnt out on the GTA formula after vice city, couldnt bring myself to finish san andreas(although it was awesome), and couldnt do gta 4 past half. There are some awesome missions, but they all end up "drive here, get this/her/him, drive said object to _____, shoot shoo shoot, get away from cops". I know there is more to gta than that, it just gets soooo horribly repetitive, and the shooting segments arent fun(gta has never been a good shooter).

There is a company ball-z enough to sell demos now? BLASPHEMY!! oh wait. yeah sony/polyphony... Seriously though. Its not hard to figure out. GT has been a solid series, with a huge fanbase. Said fanbase likes racing games, and in the ps3s lifespan, GT5P/GT5 has been the only exclusive racer ps3 has, where as xbox has had forza 2, 3, 4, horizon. If only one forza got released on xbox, the sales would be similar. just add up all the forzas and we'll see. Meh, forza 3 + 4 = about 9.1 million.
