I didn't know Jeff and while I read the reviews, I never actually looked at who wrote them. However, my response for this is simple. I'll ignore all Eidos products from hereon. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck....
But leaving Gamespot is self defeating. A stronger message can be sent out by focussing on the apparent source of this issue.
Stick around and stick together.

How is leaving "self defeating". By leaving they no longer get hits. Hits = Advertising money. They also don't get my subscription money.
Everyone should leave. Let them [C|NET / Gamespot]play with themselves on an empty site.
[QUOTE="d3c1m8r"]Shade... this is not about just a reviewer getting poop-canned this is about gamespot prostituting themselves to the highest bidders. It is total bullsh1t and you and I both know it. If you don't care than you are obviosly a complete ignoramous. skatatay
My subscription has been cancelled. Gamespot and CNET can stick it where the sun don't shine. Wait... there is probably something already there... but that is another story.

You Mods must be having a rough 24 hours. I know JustPlainLucas lost his cool in the off-topic board, but apologized afterwards.

Yeah, it's rough, but the only things I'm really addressing are people who are being foolish enough to think that account suiciding is going to do any good, which it doesn't.
All it does is give the moderators more work, when we have nothing to do with the situation, and in several cases feel just as upset as you guys about it.
If the mods are just as upset... they should quit modding for this joke of a site. Plain AND Simple.
