What's sad to me is how everyone in the gaming media seems to think developers should just make games for their own gratification, and not care about what consumers think. Should i ever make a game(i hope i can), I can tell you I don't want to spend two to three years and millions of dollars developing something only I can enjoy, and Only I can see as an art form. If I do make it into the gaming industry, I'll be making games for consumers, not myself. I wholeheartedly agree that games are an art form, and tampering with art rarely does any good. However, if you're going to turn your art into a product and sell it, you have an obligation to satisfy your consumers to the best of your abilities. How dare anyone say that BioWare is 'caving in'. BioWare is took their pride and swallowed it all, and are now going above and beyond the call of duty to make their consumers more satisfied. In my book that makes them GOOD developers. Their practices recently have been.... less, than acceptable, but i gotta give it to them on this one. Trying to Convince everyone is foolish, since that is not possible when you're dealing with millions of people, but trying to Convince MOST people, it's entertainment and costumer support is all about

What i'm hoping for the Most on this game is the difficulty. Far Cry 1 was Really Challenging, One of the hardest Shooters i've played, and i loved That. That was tossed aside in FC2, FC2 was very easy, which is why i got bored with it since it didn't really had anything that could grab me. I'm hoping for FC3 to at least get close to the difficulty of FC1(since without Crytek i very much doubt they'll be able to pull it off), but thus far the game looks like a Michael Bay Movie, running and gunning with loads of explosions. But We'll see. Oh, and PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, let us de activate those stupid Arrows.

And this is exactly my problem with EA and BW right now. Dude, if it's a VIDEO GAME franchise, then put everything important IN THE GAME. I'm sorry, but i'm just not gonna go out of my way to buy a book to know something Essential IN THE GAME. I'm sure some people would and i'm happy for them, i guess, but not me, and the fact of the matter is, most people won't either. If they did something like in Origins, where 1) the book came out BEFORE the game was released and 2)The Book is a Simple BACKSTORY to give you more information you don't really need and to give you new perspectives of a Character and/or situations in the game, THEN i would consider it. Otherwise, no, i'm not buying your books to know an essential piece of story. Put it in the game or no deal.

Honestly? Yeah, i hated DA2 and thought it was a huge disappointment(didn't play TOR and never will, i don't play Subscription Feed MMOs), but this is just disgusting.
