...when you spent $80 on it, got a $10 coupon for your next trip to the store to soften the blow, and now it's $35. I'm afraid to buy anything new anymore. Dishonored 2 is coming out and I think I'm just going to wait a year and get the complete edition.

There's no point buying anything new anymore from the point of view of a consumer...and before long the industry is going to claim it hurts their sales...but they did that to themselves. Like with Battlefield 1's "Early Enlister" edition: get the game a couple days early, and bonus content that is absolute throwaway "content." Emblems for a game where nobody cares about emblems except people that would rather make their own. Much like the game's extremely bland dogtags. Or skins for handguns only you can see, let's be honest...in that split second you kill an opponent they're going to be admiring your weapon skin. A free battlepack? I might care if you got anything decent out of them, like older Battlefields. More skins for 80% of weapons you're never going to use.

There's way too much influence from games like Hardline. Like EA wanted to just take shortcuts and use Visceral's resources to get a headstart on development.

@dinosaur_teeth: Do a google search for custom Battlefield emblems, there's sites that will let you choose from tons of pre-made ones.

@dinosaur_teeth: Mine's a Misfits skull, lol. I remember every time I spraypainted one on the walls in Hardline, whoever killed me would tag over it in the killcam. It's fun when matches turned into graffiti wars.

Hopefully Nintendo will keep with tradition and put out another tired-ass recycled Zelda game and give us another sorry-ass Metroid spinoff. Sadly, that's all I expect from them. Unless they surprise me and offer up Mario Badminton.

This is the prettiest game I've seen in a while. Even through a compressed web video.

The only "article" on Gamespot that is more like a wiki than an article. Only thankful that I didn't have to watch a mandatory video ad to see it. Shame I can't say the same for everything else on the site. (thinking about slinking back to IGN)

Eddie, just make the article about the subject. You don't need throw in links to other crap about the game. If traffic is low for Gamespot, it's because you guys put video ads on damn near everything, and recently started to autoplay videos as the user scrolls through the site, literally stealing ad revenue when the user doesn't even press Play on the video. How can Gamespot be that desperate for cash when they're owned by CBS?
