Hmm.. I suppose in the next month as I save up for this stuff I could look around. Wouldn't Newegg be a great spot to find all of them, though? I don't know much about the site, but you'd think they'd have older products too
Newegg is a great place to buy from, but unfortunately it too has phased out nearly all of those parts, you can find similar parts, but IIRC they only sell OEM versions of AM2 cpu's now, so the cost of buying a heatsink seperate will negate any savings. Which means you will probably have to go the AM3 route, which usually means a slightly more expensive motherboard and DDR3 RAM.Damn :( This will greatly complicate my process since I know nothing about computers. I guess this will be a good learning process for me, then
