They never needed to have the most power. Exclusive games, price point, and name recognition are what made the PS4 a runaway train. Having the most power at the start of the gen was icing on the cake.
I watch all E3's. I do not see how this one will be different. It is a shame Sony will not be attending.
Hmm, will be interesting to see all the flip flopping in a thread about a flop.
I am sure Microsoft will release a flop to compete. Nintendo, not likely.
They could achieve that now. It is all about how many bells and whistles they cram into the game and where they target the performance. So odds are they wont achieve ot next gen either. They haven't had that as a priority.
You done fucked up A Aron.
Rather weird of them to go third party when they have two Next Gen consoles in development.
Its whatever to me, but deliberately misconstrued statements about their platform strategy are laughable.
On a side note, if Gamepass came to PlayStation I would possibly subscribe if there were enough games that interested me.
@xantufrog: I could see the argument if the game is first party and it runs exclusively through Xbox Live (pc or xbone).
If it's a pc game that came to Xbox it's kind or reaching.
