You can't really compare it with the rest of the series since like the previous person said, it's turn-based strategy. I personally haven't played it and I don't think I have the desire to. Definitely not the best SRPG out there.

I don't know...a 4 year old may not take good enough care of the DS...they are not the most tough built systems ever. I think the screens crack easily.

Depends on the game really. If it requires intense button mashing, then I don't stay in the same position for more than 10 minutes :P Other than that, I usually lie on my bed when playing.

A few US releases...and probably a few Japanese imports. Quite a few good ones coming out in Japan.

Wait for one more month for the remake of the Lunar game. What was it called again? Harmony of the Silver Star or something.

I find that if you travel around a lot then Go is a better choice because taking your games around with you can be a hassle. Otherwise, I say go with 3000.

I have this 3000 model.

I really love it. Don't think I'll ever upgrade again. Unless it breaks.

The 2000 and 3000 models feel like they can break easily, but they are made of pretty tough stuff. I've heard of plenty of people dropping them on the ground/floor and with no problems.

My first PSP was used, and it had no problems.

Good point :P

Looking purely at graphics though, PS3 is definitely the way to go :P

Yeah, I suppose if you put it that way it makes sense. Although I personally think weekends are when people are most likely to go shopping, so Wednesday is more the middle.
