@bdrtfm: that's the whole problem with vr at this point, most people only try it for a little bit, get motions sick and never go back.
You can thank the anti teleport guys for that, and playstation with their inferior tracking, and now also oculus who managed to lower the fps to 80 fps on the rift s and gimp the tracking as well.
There are numerous other problems that make it less interesting, cable setup, ipd, system requirements, but they're all pretty easy to overcome.
I'll give you 15 minutes with my vr setup, and you'll at least consider it if you have the freedom to do so, because not everyone has the ability to be in another world for a certain period of time.
and the price is really not that steep, you can get a used cv1 for like 250$ nowadays, and something similar to a gtx 970 will be sufficient.
@Theo1971: well that's a womens touch, and I don't really mind it that much, women can give you another view on a game, something that male reviewers might not point out. The aspects you talk about in a game are mostly the things you already know anyway since this is not the only review on the internet.

In comparison with previous gens, I'm still waiting for overload games on these systems, compared to the xbox 360/ps3 era, this gen doesn't have a lot of games, i don't think many people care anymore for new systems, they care for new games.
