I hate when games have health bars for enemies. It takes away all tension from the fights

This is ridiculous. Every single person here would want some form of compensation for their work being used without their consent. It might be different if they asked him to use it. If that was the case I would feel proud to have my work featured. But they didn't ask him.

Being a so called "REAL" artist isn't a very lucrative business unless you are very lucky. There are a lot more job opportunities for graphic designer than there are for portrait painter or sculptor. Graphic Design combines artistic aesthetic appeal with functionality. It takes a ton of talent to get simple things correct, such as a map or a restaurant menu. If you were to compare a map done by an amateur with no artistic ability or a professional graphic designer, I'm sure you would be amazed at the difference and change your tune a little.
