The Daily Mail? There's your first mistake.SilverSignal
The author probably knew nobody but the Daily Mail would take him seriously.

Ofc it doesn't have the specs, but you also have to take into account the very low resolution. This not only means its easier to process, but on the smaller screen it's easier to get away with less of some major power sappers. I think that by the end of this handheld gen an hd video of KZ3/UC3/etc. and games on the Vita will look just as good as each other.hexashadow13
Not only resolution, but graphics tech has advanced significantly since the PS3 and 360. The difference that makes is huge. They can pull of better visuals with less power.

The key is the progression in what graphics chips can do. 2005 to 2011 is a long time, and greater effects can be pulled off with far less hardware power. Which technically does mean that 360/PS3 looking visuals are possible on the Vita. For the same reason, many Wii U games may look better than PS3/360 games, even though the hardware *might* be less powerful. So it's not really surprising at all; raw figures tell you nothing about visuals. I've heard a lot of stick given to the 3DS for its 'lack of power', but visually it's very impressive. I'm looking forward to what both handhelds can pull off over the coming years.

Hardly any kids around here, lots of cats though but they keep to themselves really and stay out of our yard/garden. The house behind us has chickens, which can be a bit noisy at times, but they don't get on my nerves.

Might be onto something here; I watched Sesame Street as a kid, and turned out gay :P

Timing, reflexes, strategy, etc... I'd say gaming uses a range of skills. Perhaps not physical fitness, but there are lots of non-physically demanding skills.

I'm incredibly obsessive about this, my keys must be in the front right, phone in the front left, and wallet in the back right. Any other combination and I cannot stop checking my pockets.

Makes better use of the screen space, much like Chrome. Which is good.
