I'd like your opinion on that. I might have a 360 soon but all I want is the XBLA games. I don't have interest on retail games except for a few games (Less than 10 games). I'm not a fan of shooters (FPS or Third person shooters), sandbox games, racing games, WRPG,... I'm more a platformers, action/adventuresguy.

However, I saw many XBLA games that I find interesting.

So is it worth? I'll ask recommandations on the recommandations thread.

The Vii is probably the best rip-off on Wii.

I did my part bywriting ontheir Facebook page. What I found weird is Nintendo wants to bring back the "core" gamer with the WiiU but they don't want to bring "core" games from Japan to Wii. Are they serious with WiiU?

For those who still cares about Nintendo downloads :

Sometimes you just need to shake things up to keep them interesting. That's especially true with the recent launch of the Nintendo eShop, a new virtual store that gives Nintendo 3DS™ users access to a wide variety of downloadable games and select content that can be viewed in 3D without the need for special glasses. To mark the debut of the Nintendo eShop – and provide consumers with a valuable one-stop showcase of all the latest downloadable content across Nintendo systems – the weekly Nintendo Download is about to get a makeover.

Starting June 16, the Nintendo Download will include information about the newest additions to the Nintendo eShop, including new 3D games, 3D Classics (select classic video games re-mastered in 3D), Virtual Console™ versions of games from the Game Boy™ and Game Boy Color systems, and hundreds of games originally offered via the Nintendo DSiWare™ service. What's more, this modified weekly update will be posted Thursdays instead of Mondays, giving fans a heads-up on the latest offerings just in time for the weekend.

Loyal readers can rest assured that the Nintendo Download will continue to feature the latest items for the WiiWare™, Nintendo DSiWare and Wii Virtual Console services, highlighting the ever-growing variety of instantly downloadable games and entertainment for Nintendo systems. Likewise, content will continue to be added to the Wii Shop Channel and Nintendo DSi Shop on a weekly basis, also on Thursdays.

Virtual Console games to be transferable on Cafe and some of them could be in HD.

http://telewatcher.com/telewatching/rumor-project-cafe-virtual-console/

I don't have doubts that VC and even Wiiware games if Cafe is backward compatible with Wii games to be there. It will probably be transferable the same way that DsiWare will be on 3DS.

AlmightyDerek

I didn't know you could transfer DSi ware to 3ds. How does that take place?? It is wirelessly or do you connect with a USB cord?? I don't have a 3DS or DSi, I was just wodering how so I could envision transferring my VC games to Wii2 when the time comes.

We aren't completely sure yet. Nintendo is updating the firmware for the 3DS on June 6th and then we can do the transfer. The only thing we do know is that you have to download an app on the DSi, which prepares it's contents to move, when it's available on June 6th. My guess is the transfer is either wirless (like DS to DS setting transfer) or through the SD card. There is no USB cord for DSs so that definitely isn't it. If it is through the SD card then that is probably how Wii stuff will get transferred.

What I can see for this for the Wii-Cafe transition, I could see if you have a Wii put your Wii's friend code somewhere on cafe. You would tied your Wii console since VC andWiiware games are tied to the console into an account on Cafe. VC and Wiiware (if Cafe is backward compatible with Wii) would still be on Cafe's eShop (I have a huge feeling that's what it would be called) if you didn't buy games before like DSiWare is still seperated on the 3DS eShop if you didn't have a DSi before.

I don't know about the DSi if it has a friend code on the machine like on Wii.

I think it's a 3DS E3 mostly because of the reveal of Vita/NGP.

As for Cafe, I expect Final console name, maybe some games to be announced, video and tech demos.

As for Wii, some games to be released maybe Xenoblade and Last Story but Zelda: Skyword Sword will probably be the showcase on the Wii side.

[QUOTE="22Toothpicks"]

Obviously the comment I just posted is in reference to the systems power so it's like this: Cafe is to PS4/NextBox as PS2 was to GC/Xbox it terms of tech, which I could totally live with. Now one can only hope that Cafe receives the same amount of 3rd support as the PS2; more support would make it truly like the PS2.

roboccs

My only fear is when PS4 and XBOX720 come out, they will likely dwarf the powerfulness of Cafe. Hopefully the PS3 and 360 will shoot for longer lifespans and there will be a few years where they are equal to (or less than) Cafe so the Cafe can build that 3rd party support. Timing is everything and hopefully the rumors that the system will be easy to develop for are true.

I have a huge feeling that the PS4 and xbox 3 will not have a huge step in power like the PS2 to PS3 or Xbox to 360. Sony has right now huge problems with the PSN outage because of that you won't see a new console at least in 3-4 years. The outage will cause Sony too much money with all the maintenance andthe lawsuits that will come very soon. I predict in the billion numbers, As for Microsoft, Kinect resurects the 360. It's the console that is selling right now. I can't see a new console in about 2-3 years from now.Microsoft and Sony are playing poker on each other right now. They're watching each other who will make the move first.

Nintendo is coming with a console with a touch-screen on the controller. They want to battle Apple not Microsoft or Sony. That's whythe touch-screen.

Apparently Nintendo really wanted the canceled Saints Row game on Cafe, according to that HD rumor website. Sounds reassuring Nintendo is after the market Microsoft has. MS fires at Nintendo with Kinect, Nintendo WTFDOMINATES with Cafe!

ChubbyGuy40

The Saint Row you're talking is the 3DS game which it was a port of the XBLA game. There was not a Saint Row on Cafe at least not yet.
