For the analog stick. Specifically to play Okamiden more comfortably.

I always wanted one back when it came out. Never bought one to this day. I think it really did have alot of under-appreciated games, but some of them are too rare and expensive to make it worth looking into getting them these days. For me at least.

I mainly play RPGs (can't stand Western ones though) and danmaku games. I also really like the exploration games like Metroid, but I have no idea what genre that would be under.

Some people are just spoiled and seriously think they can't live without online gaming, or at least have nothing productive to do with their lives when they get sick of single player or whatever.

Are you using an old 40GB model? This sounds like a common problem with those models. If so, it's most likely a problem with the laser disc reader.

That aspect is free. But it should be free because social networks like facebook are free. I cant speak for everyone else, but i use it mainly for online multiplayer games. That aspect i feel I pay for because I bought the game.

You're missing the point of how costs work. The cost of a game =/= the cost of a free service that allows you to play said game online for free. That's like saying you pay for PSN because you pay a different company for your internet. It's totally separate.

Also, things like facebook make their money off of the advertising they host. The service is free to users, but not the owners. Just like Sony and PSN.

It probably just has alot to do with the market growing along with the people playing. Alot of companies feel they need to make things more mature or serious, just to appeal to the majority of the market, or else they might risk potential sales.

I would vote something to the effect of, 'don't care', but the only options for the poll are negative ones.

The link doesn't even have an actual source, and is just going off it's own exaggeration of old, vague statements. Plus, the site doesn't seem credible in the first place, and seriously looks more like it was a Gatorade site at first glance than anything to do with games.
