@jdog8888888 I do too. I was really skeptical about the gamepad, but I love it.

@nazgoroth I found that after I ranked up a bit and played in higher level matches, this sort of thing... decreased. Still happens from time to time, but no game is completely free of jerks. Maybe you could try forming a team of friends? CS is really meant to be played with a team that communicates well anyway.

@Cellpwn Give it a chance. Don't dismiss it immediately because it's a little different than 1.6 and Source. It's really a fantastic game, and the developers are working pretty consistently to improve it.

@Dannystaples14 Your experience is very clearly from lower levels of play. I know that you probably won't, but if you put in some real commitment to getting better at the game, you might change your mind about the weapons and such.

Not trying to bash you or anything though. We all have different tastes. Just saying that I think your points are only valid at low level CS play.

Nice job including the clip of Friberg's 4-frag from Dreamhack Summer. That play was amazing.

@123whatever I can see both sides of the argument, though I'm excited to hear that you have such positive feelings toward it.

I also think that Nintendo is just saying that they would rather wait for the technology to be a bit smoother and finished before they hop on the bandwagon.

I think they sort of made that mistake before--using the new Wii motion technology before it really felt like quality, and they lost a lot of fans that way who ultimately felt like a lot of the motion controls just didn't respond well. I felt the same way about the Kinect. I'd rather wait for a technology to work properly and feel complete before I jump into it.

@MjnE

Step 1: Launch a series of incredibly successful consoles.

Step 2: launch one console that doesn't sell very well.

Step 3 QUIT

Nice logic.

Yeah, the WiiU is doing pretty poorly, and I don't think it will ever be a smashing success, but I do see sales picking up as the price drops and more exclusive titles come by. If they can get production costs down and bring the price down to 229 or so, it would be pretty tough for me to resist.

I think a lot of people would pick up a WiiU for 229 after it has Mario, Donkey Kong, Smash Bros, Mario Kart, Zelda, etc.

WiiU doesn't need 3rd party support as much as other consoles do because its selling point is the first-party content. It just needs to keep building its catalog.

@samakii Yeah, it's really a shame. Nintendo makes SUCH great games, but they're not selling because the console's just not very appealing. Abandoning the gamepad seems like their best option, but it would be such a bad PR move. I don't know.

This review is really giving me trouble. I wasn't planning on buying a WiiU, but right now it's looking better than PS4 and X1.
